At last … I’m feeling relatively fine … and Apple tells me that my 64Gb iPad 3G is “out for delivery” on a FedEx delivery truck somewhere in the metropolitan Los Angeles, CA area. While I’m most excited by the fact that I’m no longer feeling like death, I have to admit that I’m also very excited that I will finally get my grubby little paws on an iPad of my own by 3PM today:

I admit, I was not too keen on the idea of an iPad when it was announced earlier this year … but as soon as I was able to sit down and play with one, I understood the appeal. I absolutely still contend that it is just a big iPhone … but, it turns out, that that is its appeal for me. I’ve been in dire need of a mobile computer that is smaller, lighter and more readily accessible than a laptop and bigger, faster and more functional than a mobile phone. I cannot be 100% sold on the iPad just yet, mainly because my experience with the device has been really limited, but I’m willing and very excited to give it a shot. I’m (Read more...)

For the first time outside the comfort of his Late Show set, David Letterman addressed his recent sex scandal during a rare visit to Live with Regis & Kelly.

After Regis Philbin posed a potentially awkward question about Letterman's home life, Dave opened up with sincerity about cheating on wife Regina Lasko.

"I don't know if people know this, but I've had some trouble," he joked. "You know when something like this happens - and mostly it was reckless behavior on my part - if you behave recklessly and it hurts your family, then of course it hurts you.

"It was not a tragedy, it was just stupidity. And thank God, because we all know what tragedies are, and we all know how horrifying and scarring... and you can't get beyond some of these. We all know what we're talking about."

If nothing else, Letterman is refreshingly candid about his own failings.

"You read about [these tragedies] every day. It's just godawful. And when you're a parent, this is your worst nightmare. So it wasn't that, thank God."

RadarOnline is reporting that Halle Berry and model Gabriel Aubry have split after several years and one daughter together.

According to the source, the 9 year age difference was getting to Aubry (he’s 34, she’s 43). Although it didn’t bother him when they first started dating, the longer they were together, the more he started to notice it and the younger women around him.

The source tries to make Aubry sound like not a total schmuck by adding that he’s a great guy who wouldn’t cheat, he would just leave his girlfriend and their daughter to bang younger women. So…yeah. Much better.

This makes me sad for humanity. Those are some prime genes right there and those two crazy kids owe it to the world to make more gorgeous babies. I think that’s what Rousseau meant by social contracts.

Apparently, no one told him his music SUCKS, so it came as a big surprise to him!

Chris Brown disappointed what little fans he has left by losing his cool with a radio DJ in Richmond yesterday morning.

The DJ played back the very short interview for fans, explaining that before he could even ask Chris a question, the tool started screaming about not getting enough airplay. The DJ revealed:

"Chris Brown was going to come in today to do an interview to promote his concert… But before we could even get into the interview, homeboy starts yelling at me, wondering why we don't play his records. And I said, Mr Chris Brown… you just don't have any hits and that's just the truth. You don't have any hits right now.' And… from there the whole interview just goes south."

On the recording from the interview, Chris can be heard screaming:

"All I'm saying is that you don't play my s**t. What number is it (my song) at? It don't matter. Why am I even doing this interview? I ain't doing this s**t."

We hear that the station was then inundated with calls from the record label, Jive, with each (Read more...)
