I can’t believe we haven’t reported on this before now, because it’s ridiculous: Matt Lauer from The Today Show was rumored to have cheated on his wife with any number of people, including his co-host Meredith Vieira (although that was just Internet rumor, pretty much). In any case, one of the supposed adulterous accomplices is a singer named Alexis Houston, who he met on set a few years ago. Alexis was so incensed about the accusations that she went to the trouble of hiring Gloria Allred, the ambulance-chaser of celebrity sex scandals, to deny the affair.

Turns out, surprise, surprise, that Alexis Houston is shady as hell. Up until 2007, she was a man named Wellington Houston, and while that’s not shady, what is suspect is that Wellington was sued in 1996 by Whitney Houston over false claims that the two singers were cousins. “Houston” is just a stage name; Wellington’s real last name is “Stuart.” And apparently Alexis uses a British accent, which may or may not be real. Good God.

The picture above is Alexis and her boyfriend, Matt Lunsford. I don’t know if this is the same man who paid for her transition, but regardless, they look pretty happy together. Maybe Matt Lauer was just trying to get her into computer classes? She could be a freaky-deaky and do data entry! Or did she ever consider court reporting?

The producers behind the Oscar-winning film, The Hurt Locker, started a crusade a few months ago to sue BitTorrent users for illegally downloading their movie online.

As of yesterday, an official suit was filed and 5,000 BitTorrent users will be handed subpoenas for being in violation of copyright laws.

In one of the biggest lawsuits ever against individuals, Voltage Pictures is seeking $1,500 from each person to settle. They further warn if people won't settle, they'll go at them for ten times as much when and if the case goes to court.

Makes you want to rethink keeping your Netflix membership, huh? Might be worth it to keep it around!

As of now, a list of offenders has not been given to Voltage Pictures, only the IP addresses of the accused. But give it some time! Soon, those producers will be storming these people's homes in their own war!

That really sucks for the poor film student who can't even afford a package of Ramen Noodles and now has to cough up $1,500!

Shame!

Lindsay Lohan, who has been ordered by the court to wear a SCRAM alcohol-monitoring bracelet to ensure that she refrains from drinking alcohol, made her way to the beach this weekend to enjoy the sun and surf with friends. Unfortch, due to her required new accessory, L. Lo was unable to enjoy the warm weather without having to hear her knee-high leather boots to cover up her SCRAM:

As you may recall, Lindsay has been hiding her new SCRAM bracelet all week long … even while wearing different colors of this same style boot. It’s a shame she’s not feeling comfortable yet showing off her new accessory (and letting her poor legs breath in the stiflingly hot SoCal weather). Ah well … at least she’s behaving herself … I assume. I wonder how long it will take for Lindsay to finally be ready to show off her new SCRAM bracelet?

There's one person on the planet happier about Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's break-up than Heidi's mom: Jennifer Bunney.

The reason? Because now you've heard of Jennifer Bunney. Unfortunately, you'll be hearing a lot more from her, too. Starting now.

Asked about her pal's split from Spencer, Bunny told Us Weekly that the couple is "going through some issues... I don't think you move in with your friend if your marriage is completely cruising along. If things are great, you don't move out and move in with your friend."

Well, you do if you're an attention-starved fame whore whose relationship with Pratt has run its course in the view of the public and the tabloids.

Over the weekend, Heidi Tweeted that she's gonna have the "best summer of my life," move in with Bunney and film a reality show. What will it focus on? Said Jennifer:

"The show will depict who we really are, without the producers trying to create situations. We want it to be different from The Hills."

Hilariously, Bunney claims to be an aspiring doctor and told the magazine this series will capture "huge turning points" in the lives of her and Montag. (Read more...)

Yesterday was a pretty bizzy day for me, despite the fact that I was hoping to enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon. After I got my work done, I left the house to take care of a bunch of errands. Our printer suddenly stopped printing colors properly and since it was a few years old, I thought it was time for an upgrade. I managed to find the AMAZING HP Photosmart Premium All-In-One printer that is, get this, completely wireless! Now all of the computers in our home can print to the same printer completely wire free! While trying to clean Saturday, I discovered that our vacuum cleaner stopped sucking … and it’s an old (cheap) piece of junk so I had to find a replacement too. So, yeah, I spent much of my day running around, taking care of menial but necessary things.

Last night, I ventured out to see Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time:

The latest trailer for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is out and Lord, does it look awesome. I haven’t read the comic books it’s based on, but Internet commentary is suggesting they’ve done a good job in capturing the aesthetic, despite the movie being live-action. The director, Edgar Wright, did Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, so I can absolutely see his high-energy, flashy style being perfect for a movie like this. Check out the latest trailer!

What a sweet cast, right? Michael Cera (I still like him, I don’t care), Anna Kendrick, Jason Schwartzman, Aubrey Plaza, Kieran Culkin, Mae Whitman…I mean, most of those people aren’t exactly A-listers, but that’s why the movie will probably be good, since they opted for talent over fame and looks.

The only thing I have to say against it right now is that between all the trailers that have been released, I feel like I’ve already seen a lot of the movie. Hopefully, they really are just a tease and the movie will live up to its promise.

The ongoing Tony Parker birthday celebration continued over the weekend.

For the third time in two weeks, wife Eva Longoria threw her man a party in honor of the Spurs guard turning 28 on May 17. Following bashes in Miami and Los Angeles, the couple graced the red carpet of Eve nightclub in Las Vegas Saturday night.

"I got him a lot of things," the Desperate Housewives star said. "I got him four-wheelers because he wanted a new four-wheeler, and I got him a Microsoft surface computer that he can touch and play with."

If we were Parker, there's only one thing we'd want to touch and play with every night: Eve herself.

Parker, who has so much free time because the Spurs lost in the second round of the NBA playoffs, said: "I don’t have a birthday wish list. Whatever she gives me I’m fine with it. I’m happy."
