For the second week in a row, the fourth installment of Shrek won the top spot at the box-office, taking in an estimated $55.6 million over the long holiday weekend.

Experts had estimated that it would be Sex & The City 2 who would bring in the big bucks, but in fact, the ladies and their Abu Dhabi adventure came in THIRD!

Jumping past the girls in sales was Jake Gyllenhaal's Prince of Persia, which made $.7 million more than Sex.

Congratulations are in order for singer/actress Shirley Manson (frontwoman of the amazing band Garbage) who revealed to Craig Ferguson on The Craig Ferguson Show last Friday night that she secretly got married to an American! As you may recall, Shirley has been spending her time lately working as a spokesmodel for Oliver Peoples Eyewear and recently confirmed not only that she’s been in the recording studio with her Garbage bandmates but that the band is talking about making a new album together. This news of a secret marriage is a bit of a surprise … here are the deets as she revealed them Friday night:

Former Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson has tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Los Angeles. Manson, who sparked rumors that she was engaged after spotted wearing a massive sparkler on her ring finger back in 2008, revealed about the marriage during her appearance on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on Friday, May 28. “I married an American, it’s fantastic. So Sarah Palin has a " TARGET="_BLANK">stalker. We don’t know why anyone would waste their time, but maybe he’s bored.

Actually, we think it’s more that he wants attention, like so many other no-name people who just happen to have a slight connection to a famous person.

Joe McGinniss lives right across the way from the house of Palin and was accused by the ex-Alaskian governor for stalking her. She confirmed it on her Facebook page.

But Joe says that it is the Palins who are actually stalking him! He suggests that he tried to have a relationship filled with “mutual respect and benign neglect”, but the Palins are ignoring his efforts and instead are dragging his name through the mud.

Course, they might have a point. When Joe moved in next door, he was just starting to pen his new book, “Sarah Palin’s Year of Living Dangerously.”

Yeah, that’s a lot creepier than we would be comfortable with too.
