The Scream movie franchise managed to take a $4.99 Halloween mask (which I know was the cost of the thing cuz I had a hard time selling them at Halloween when I worked at Rite Aid Pharmacy back home in Michigan in the years before Scream came out) and turn it into an iconic piece of pop culture lore. It seems that “Scream 4″ will not only see new faces but also new mask. Fan site Scream-Trilogy has found tweets from RJ Torbert of Funworld, the manufacturer of the Ghostface halloween mask featured in “Scream” trilogy, who revealed that two different masks will be used in the upcoming film. “I expect there to be 2 diff masks, however I will say this, things changing very often – difficult to say without giving it away,” so RJ wrote on his Twitter as quoted by Scream-Trilogy, before adding “Sent out additional GHOSTFACE to the SET today, a very interesting opening scene.” Giving another info, RJ wrote, “Lets just say, the town of Woodsboro, has an obsession. There is your hint.” “Scream 4″ has just kicked off production this June in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Wes Craven who directed the previous three “Scream” films returns for the same duty, with Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette reprising their roles as Sidney Prescott, Gale and Dewey respectively. Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere, meanwhile, are among young stars added to the cast ensemble of the thriller, which is slated to come out on April 15, 2011 in the U.S.

As you may recall, we got our first look at Neve Campbell on the Michigan set of Scream 4 earlier this week when the movie officially began filming production … and now we are hearing that basic parts of the franchise we all know and love may be tweaked a bit. I trust Wes Craven knows what he is doing … I trust these changes will work well in Scream 4. Ugh, I’m just dying to see how it all works out in the end. We’ve got a looooong as time to wait before August 15, 2011 arrives.

It's a rhetorical question, no need to reply.

Little Miz "garbage chic" Ke$ha is starting to wonder why despite having #1 records and a strong background in songwriting, everyone is still criticizing her music.

In a recent interview, she proclaimed herself "responsible" and "hardworking," which we think she's confusing as synonyms for "repulsive" and "horrendous."

Ke$ha hopes to one day shed the "party girl" image so that people see her for what she really is: a homeless man an artist. A good start might be purchasing clean clothes and tossing the dumpster dive finds, along with that $toopid "$."

She says:

"People say 'party girl' and instantly you think: DUI, drug problem, (privates) out, no underwear, going to nightclubs every night. Problem. I'm none of the above."

Um, you sure about that? Because most non-alcoholics we know don't drunk-vom in stranger's closets …and then write a song about it.

Still, though no one is giving her the respect she thinks she deserves today, she has high hopes for the future. She explains:

First we saw the sketches, then we saw the first promo ad, then we saw Lourdes Maria modeling the clothes and today we get to see the first TV commercial for Madonna‘s new juniors clothing line called Material Girl. But, before we check out the commercial, let’s check out a few photos of her Madgesty herself overlooking the design process for Material Girl:

International Icon and world renowned Material Girl Madonna has teamed up with her daughter Lola to create a new fast-fashion junior collection “Material Girl” which is exclusively available at Macy’s just in time for back-to-school season and will be in-store on August 3rd. Even though it failed to get huge ratings, VH1 is giving it another chance!

Jessica Simpon's The Price of Beauty "is being retooled" for its sophomore season.

The focus of the show will now be on makeover instead of traveling the world with her stoopid friends.

"VH1 is in talks with Jessica for a series on beauty and image," claims a source.

A spokesperson for the network added:

"We are here to stay with Jessica and are committed to this journey and this message with her about women, self image, etc… all through Jessica’s totally unique and unfiltered lens. We are really excited about the next step, which we will announce soon and will air on VH1 in 2011."

Let's hope this step is better than the first!

GET IT, Elin!

Elin Nordegren has bagged a $750 million settlement in her divorce from Tiger Woods in exchange for her silence about his numerous affairs. A source reveals:

"Elin is desperate to protect the children from the womanizing side of their father. Tiger's main fear is her telling her story after he's rebuilt his reputation, sending him back to the gutter. Elin's legal team have done a great job digging up all sorts of assets.

"The price of the huge sum is her silence: no interviews, tell-all books, or TV appearances about this for the rest of her life — even if Tiger dies first — or she'll lose the lot. Everything's signed. Elin is ready to file for divorce at Orlando County Court. She expects to in the next seven days."

Good for her!

As for the children, Elin will have sole physical custody of their kids Charlie and Sam, but they will split legal custody.

Tiger can see the kids for up to half of each week, but he is not allowed to bring any women around the children that heis involved with unless he marries one of them.

Here are a few photos of Miss Lindsay Lohan making a late night run to Rite Aid Pharmacy this week with court-ordered SCRAM alcohol-monitoring bracelet and new BFF attached. No matter what sort of woes Lindsay must endure, she always seems to find new friends to keep her company on her merry way:

Incidentally, Lindsay appeared on the Bravo TV show Double Exposure last night and as much as she looked like a bit of a wrecked mess, she was the most interesting thing about that dreadful show. Sure, she didn’t come off looking too great but I’ve seen her look worse and I honestly found her entertaining. While the thought of her mother getting a new reality TV show deal nauseates me, I think I might be tempted to tune in if Lindsay appears on the show. I know … I hate myself for it but … I can’t help it.

Is Jake Pavelka gay? Personally, we don't see it, but there are now two separate reports of this surfacing, and crazier things have turned out to be true.

We'd rate this rumor as less believable than reports of Al Gore trying to sex up Molly Hagerty, but at the same time, we wouldn't rule it out fully yet.

Despite his nice public persona, The Bachelor star weaves a web of lies, according to Vienna Girardi ... and Tanya Douglas, who dated Jake from 2008-09.

"Jake did the same thing to me!" says Tanya, claiming Jake promised to marry her but never followed through on it. "He is a slippery, slimy con man."

Here's where the gay rumors come in. As with Vienna, Tanya Douglas says Jake withheld physical affection from Tanya ... after sleeping with her first.

"He told me he had to abstain from sex for religious purposes until we were married," she recalls. "It was weird, 'cause we had already been intimate!"
