Dr. Drew nabs Jeremy London for VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab”

(HMG) – I guess I should have seen this one coming. Addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky will be tossing alleged kidnapping victim Jeremy London into the back of an ambulance and locking him up for two months of detox and drug counseling. In this case though the former Party of Five star, will collect the ransom as in a $40,000 salary for his time in at the Pasadena Recovery Center! A source tells Radar that Jeremy will check into Celebrity Rehab early next week. London’s wife Melissa will be taking Jeremy to the center and will visit him periodically. Melissa has been to rehab twice herself. Jeremy’s last visit to rehab was back in September of ‘09 when he was treated for an addiction to prescription pills. Jeremy recently told People Magazine that despite being forced to take ecstasy and smoke meth, he is totally sober and was only acting like an addict to save himself from the kidnappers. I guess he will continue his act now for Dr. Drew and his staff. Celebrity Rehab, which was supposed to begin production last month, was shelved by VH1 because they couldn’t find a headlining star to fill the cast, which (Read more...)
