[HMG] – As you know, Jessica Simpson has picked a new partner, Eric Johnson – despite the fact he’s not legally single. Well, it seems Jess has gone right off the deep-end again and is already shaping her life round her man.
The new pair met just five weeks ago when friends brought Eric, who played tight-end for both the 49ers and the New Orleans Saints, to a party at Jessica’s home in Beverly Hills. And those friends seem concerned that Jess may leave skid marks in her haste to find love;
“Jess is definitely rushing into this,” one insider tells Us magazine.
Yale graduate, Eric has been married for five years, and only filed for divorce back in January. But on July 1 Jessica flew to Florida to meet his whole family, and the romance was already clear. They stayed at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club and spies say there were signs.
“Her hand was on his butt, and they walked slowly just to enjoy the moment. They looked cute together,” says one fellow guest.
