In The Social Network, Mark Zuckerberg frequently discusses and even models Facebook on some of Harvard’s infamous final clubs — private groups made up of rich students. Unfortunately, for writer Aaron Sorkin, the clubs are extremely exclusive, and researching them is nearly impossible.
Enter Natalie Portman (Harvard Alum), who dated a member of one such group called the Porcellian Club.
“Natalie Portman got in touch with me when she heard that I was doing this to say, ‘Listen…come over for dinner and I’ll tell you some stories,’” Sorkin said to a group of Harvard students at a screening last week. “I would’ve come over for dinner under any circumstances. But that was really helpful.”

Michael Lohan be famewhorin’ all over the place. Now he’s saying that Lilo shouldn’t be at Betty Ford and should be in family therapy. And maybe that’s true, but we don’t trust anything you say, Michael.
"Look at the 'short' list of people who went to Betty Ford — most, if not all, have relapsed," said Michael. "I went there myself, and I will tell you, Betty Ford is a country club. They administer prescription meds and even put their patients on prescription meds. Once more, they don't have family therapy at all."
"The root of her problems is her family," he added. "This will not work — mark my words!"
Whatever. Even if Betty Ford isn’t the right place for Lindsay, we’re certain pretty sure she shouldn't be with you!

Big Birthday Lurve goes out today to everyone’s favorite prehistoric animated show, The Flintstones, which is celebrating its 50th birthday/anniversary this week. Modeled on the very popular TV series The Honeymooners, The Flintstones have been entertaining us for the last half-century. At the very least, hitting the 50 year mark warrants a hearty Yabba Dabba Do!
A half century ago, Fred and Wilma Flintstone and neighbors Barney and Betty Rubble put the mythical town of Bedrock on the map when “The Flintstones” cartoon aired on US television for the first time. The show, which parodied suburban life in the United States, was the longest running US animated sitcom to be aired during peak viewing hours on television until another cartoon family, the Simpsons, claimed the record in 1997. The series aired weekday evenings for 30 minutes on prime time television on the ABC network from 1960-1966, and NBC showed reruns on Saturday mornings from 1967-1970. Created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, The Flintstones’ had cartoon appeal for kids, while its satirical dialogue appealed to grown-ups.
