Last December, Rihanna was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live (with Blake Lively hosting) and last night she appeared as the SNL musical guest again (this time with Jon Hamm hosting). As you may recall, Ri Ri featured in an SN Digital Short with Andy Samberg that introduced the character Shy Ronnie to the world (which you can watch again HERE). As you can guess (or may have seen if you watched SNL last night), Rihanna and Andy teamed up again for a new Shy Ronnie video on last night’s ep:

As I said, it’s cute but not quite as good as the first vid. And something tells me that this isn’t the last Shy Ronnie digital short that we will ever see. What do y’all think?
The judges told Mary that she needs to switch it up with some different musical styles last week, and she has. The song’s kind of got a disco feel. She sings it well, but personally, I prefer her usual dramatic diva style.
Aiden puts a dramatic twist on the Halloween classic, “Thriller.” It’s definitely unique, but the song is almost unrecognizable at such a slow pace. Aiden started out as a favorite for me, but he’s slowly losing his appeal. It’s just too dramatic and too much every week. Cheryl says that she’d like to see him smile once in a while and I agree.
Interesting performance from Belle Amie tonight. They emerge from coffins with big ratty hair and white dresses. It’s creative and I do think the performance aspect is pretty good, but the song choice is just not good. I have a hard time believing that Simon’s picked this song for them. It’ll forever be associated with the Gillette Venus razors. And again, they need to work on harmonizing.
Gorgeous. The song choice is perfect and the performance is understated and classy with a backing orchestra. Rebecca is still clearly a frontrunner and my pick to win. I love that she knows what works for her and sticks to it.
The porn star, Capri Anderson AKA Christina Walsh, is planning to sueCharlie Sheen for the meltdown that occurred in his NYC hotel room.
Even though Charlie says that the events were blown out of proportion, she says that she was held in the room against her will and felt her life was in danger. She also says Charlie threatened her, even though she failed to mention that to the NYPD when they arrived to the hotel room.
Walsh is reportedly ready to fly to Aspen this week to meet with Pitkin County prosecutors about what went down in The Plaza hotel room.
Charlie has a lot of money so if Walsh goes far enough with her legal proceedings, he might be willing to flash a lot of dough in front of her to keep her mouth closed.

Ron Howard, director of the Vince Vaughn movie, The Dilemma, isn't backing down and says that the "gay" joke will remain in the film when it comes to theaters January 14.
Howard wrote a letter on Friday to the L.A. Times, explaining his decision:
"[Vaughn's character] has a mouth that sometimes gets him into trouble and he definitely flirts with the line of what's okay to say. He tries to do what's right but sometimes falls short. Who can't relate to that?
We never expected [the joke] to represent our intentions or the point of view of the movie or those of us who made it.
I don't strip my films of everything that I might personally find inappropriate. Comedy or drama, I'm always trying to make choices that stir the audience in all kinds of ways. I defend the right for some people to express offense at a joke as strongly as I do the right for that joke to be in a film. But if storytellers, comedians, actors and artists are strong armed into making creative changes, it will endanger comedy as both entertainment and provoker of thought."

Last week we saw photos of Paris Hilton picking out her sailor costume at Trashy Lingerie and now we get to see it in action … it’s actually pretty tame, to be honest. Gwen as a sexy Batgirl looks pretty good, as does Kathy Griffin in a sailor costume of her own. Tori Spelling and her family (Dean McDermott, Liam Aaron and Stella Doreen) look really cute together. Hallowe’en is actually today, as you are well aware, but I’m guessing that the biggest Hallowe’en parties took place last night.
