Britney Spears' "Hold It Against Me" video is going to be epic.
So says her choreographer, Brian Friedman, having worked with Jonas Akerlund on the upcoming project, which he called a "natural fit" with the singer.
With a resume including Madonna's "Ray of Light," Lady Gaga's "Telephone" and Pink's "Sober," Akerlund's "genius" will now be enjoyed by Spears fans.

Creating sexy, controversial and sleek pop videos is Akerlund's thing, and Spears would have it no other way. Friedman is confident this one will deliver.
"Anything that he does is magical. His eye for art is insane. It's not just a job, it's not technical; it really is a genius aesthetic to what he does," he said.
Brian says the video will showcase vintage Spears - tight, sexy dance moves - with a story Akerlund brings to life: "The collaboration was incredible."
"Bringing two artists together in a way like that is the best way to go," he said of the "Hold It Against Me" video, which you'll see as soon as we do.
"He was genius for me with dance."
Let's all hope Mary Harvey never experiences the reason why a comparison she made today was so insensitive and inappropriate.
As a guest on the Tom Joyner Morning Show, Steve Harvey's ex continued her attack on her former husband, telling the host that she's first coming out about his infidelity now - in a series of bitter YouTube clips, such as the one below - because "keeping quiet hasn't served me physically. It hasn't served our son... I'm not in good health right now."
Joyner pointed out that Steve is known for completing charity work, but Mary was solely focused on his affair with Marjorie Bridges, Harvey's then-mistress and current wife.
"From a victim standpoint, it's like saying to someone who was raped, and had not had closure from his attacker, that he's still doing some good," Mary said. "It's rape to me."
Earlier today, Mary's former assistant also jumped into the fray, giving her side of the story to another radio host. It didn't help Mary's case.
Late last month we got our first look at twin babies Harper Grace and Gideon Scott with their proud fathers Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka in the pages of People magazine. Today we get to see the babies (kinda) enjoying a family stroll with their two dads and a couple of friends. The Burtka-Harris family braved the chilly SoCal rain yesterday to enjoy a family stroll … but the babies, bless their little hearts, were safely tucked out of sight inside their fathers’ shirts and jackets.
So cute, right? Adorable family … dogs included. Oh and if those hangers-on in these photos with Neil and David look familiar that’s because they are my BFFs Emma and Josh. As you may recall, Em and Josh got engaged on New Year’s Eve and they are really good friends with Neil and David. Unfortch for them, tho, they are unfamiliar with posing for the paparazzi:

Sources are reporting that Lauren Conrad is secretly engaged to longtime BF Kyle Howard. No word yet on how long ago he put a ring on it, but we hear Lauren refuses to wear said ring out in public.
But why so hush-hush? What's the point of keeping it a secret?
One word: Ratings! (What else?)
Yeah, remember back now. She's getting another show on MTV soon that's supposed to be focusing more on her career than her love life. According to one source, Lauren "wants to hold the secret back for her new MTV show."
So much for that! You should know by now, bb, there's no such thing as a secret in this town!
If the news is true, we offer a hearty congrats to the happy couple!

Last night David and I made our way to the Lounge Theater to see a full cast reading of our friend Tim Roscoe’s new play Grief. Altho the play is not yet in the staging phase, last night’s full read-thru was nothing short of amazing.
The story centers around a group of students who are dealing with the aftermath of a death in their friend circle … and all the regrets and secrets that come pouring out in their grief. The play is very well written and, as far as the reading went, very well acted. I am really looking forward to this play moving forward to the next stage of actual performance. Not sure what the plan is for today … I have a couple of things I have to take care of but I’m thinkin’ it’s gonna be a quiet night later on. Ugh, Monday … and already the last day of January. Where in the Hell does the time go?

The Bachelorette runner-up Chris Lambton and Peyton Wright, a former contestant on The Bachelor herself, have found love on the reality shows after all.
Chris' followers on Twitter likely put together that he and Peyton, who vied for the love of Andy Baldwin a few seasons ago, were an item. Now it's official.
"Yes, I have," he told People at a Bachelor reunion party in New York, when asked if he found love. "We met at another Bachelor function," Wright adds.
Together since August, the couple hit it off right away.
"It's one of those things where I've had a ton of serious relationships and I met this kid and he was genuine, outgoing and hilarious. We just click," she said.
At the cast reunion event, which reports say doubled as a Bachelor Pad 2 casting session, Chris Lambton had no regrets about turning down The Bachelor.
"It's just not me," he said. "Sitting at home and watching the season with my family weirded me out. I wanted to find love on my own, not in that situation."

But it's time for these veteran stars to get down and dirty! You've gotta take it to the limit when competing in a Fashion Face-Off, as Hamm should not be afraid to mock Firth's stutter, or Firth be scared to call Hamm out for his drinking and womanizing problems.
Nothing is off limits when fashion honors are on the table, gents! Have at it now. May the most handsome win.
