Huma Abedin needs a break, so that's exactly what she's going to do.
She just got back in the States, and Anthony is off at an "intense" rehab or something (what kind of rehab is intense for deciding to send women Weiner pics? do they take away his phone and block Facebook?). Anyway, she's decided to relax in an undisclosed location, which we think is a fantastic idea because of her pregnancy. The stress CAN'T be very good for the baby!
"She is definitely taking time off away from her husband and chilling. And he's going some place for at least a couple of weeks."
She returned just before the Democrat announced his decision to quit his Brooklyn-Queens seat in the House after six terms. It was also reported that she had decided to try to make their marriage work. Huma's family "is going to be watching her like a hawk," the source said, "like she's under a microscope."
This is definitely for the best, Huma. And maybe it'll help you decide whether or not to actually stay with him too.
Yeah, we know you said you would, but, come on! You don't need that kind of negativity in (Read more...)

The Gershwins' opera Porgy And Bess is coming to Broadway, but it's getting seriously revamped!
According to reports, the show "will feature a revised book in a musical-theatre format and jazz-oriented musical arrangements" and is "specifically created for Broadway!"
The production, which stars Audra McDonald, Norm Lewis, and David Alan Grier, will run at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, MA from August to October, and then will be begin previews at the Richard Rodgers Theatre December 17th, with an opening set for January 12th!
Sounds like it's going to be really something else! Definitely worth checking out, we'd say!
What do U think?? Do U want to see Porgy And Bess?
It seems like Nicolas Cage is CONSTANTLY involved in some sort of financial/personal/legal dramz, and now he's got a new issue to contend with...or actually an 11 year old issue!
Back in 2000, Nicolas Cage was a producer on vamp film Shadow of the Vampire, and it appears that he owes another producer from the film at least $77,176!
According to the lawsuit filed by Early Bird Productions, Shadow producer Paul Brooks was owed $77k+ for his work on the film, and Nic was supposed to pay him, but never did.
Don't worry, Nic. We know $$$ is sometimes tight for ya, but we're sure you can earn this money pret-ty quickly.
...Perhaps another couple of Ghost Rider sequels???

His name's "Paulie" though. World of difference, right?!
Apparently not, since DJ Paulie of South Windsor, Connecticut is suing the Jersey ShoreDJ Pauly Dstar for ruining his business with his antics. People are getting their names all confussled and Paulie is losing business because Pauly is to wild! The disgruntle disc jockey explained to a local newspaper:
"I've prided myself in being G-rated. Jersey Shore is hardly family entertainment. The show is hurting my business. It's ruining my reputation. I've even had death threats."
Geez! Harsh gig!
Turns out that this is the guy that stopped Pauly D from trademarking his name a few years back, since DJ Paulie had already done so and the names were too similar to comply with regulations. Now, DJ Paulie is fighting to keep his name - and for some money to make up for the loss of business. As he lawyer explains:
"Delvecchio has misappropriated my client’s name, has been told by the Feds that the name belongs to my client, but MTV is still using it. We want them to give the little guy a chance and follow the law. My client just wants his name back, he does want (Read more...)
Prince William and new bride Princess Catherine arrived in Canada Thursday for their international debut as Britain’s royal golden couple, hoping star power will win skeptical Canadians over to the monarchy. William and Kate, her dark hair blowing in the wind, stepped off the plane under overcast skies to be greeted by dignitaries before rushing off to their first official engagement on foreign soil. Thousands desperate to glimpse the 29-year-old newlyweds lined the streets of Ottawa ahead of a wreath-laying ceremony at a World War I memorial. While Prince William has plenty of experience of royal duties, his wife — known until (Read more...)

This is good news for Beyonce. It means her people are behind her no matter. Security is the last thing most aritsts have this industry.
We considered Beyonce's inital sale numbers for 4 disappointing, but apparently, her label doesn't agree with us. Ron Stringer, Columbia/Epic Label Group's Chairman, exclaimed that the label is nothing but thrilled by the way the album has performed so far. In fact, he calls the sales "vindication" against those who said she was poised to fail. He explains:
"All the speculation that gets around is frustrating when it's just not true. The story about us being unhappy with the record and stuff is just not true. There's never been any doubt or conversations about moving the record or changing it... Those conversations never existed. We're really, really happy with it ... We thought the record is great from the beginning, and some of the stuff that is happening now is vindication of it."
If you guys are happy, and Queen B is happy and no one is complaining that her last album sold better, than we guess it's all good!
