BBC Censors ‘Torchwood: Miracle Day’ In The UK, John Barrowman Takes Issue

Torchwood: Miracle Day, the first season of the long-running British series produced and filmed in the US, is doing very well on the Starz network but back in the motherland of the UK, it’s hit a bit of a snag. BBC censors have determined that the same-sex love scene that involves Captain Jack Harkness (played by lead John Barrowman) and a male bartender is too racy for broadcast — so they have cut the scene from the upcoming episode. Barrowman has gone on the record to express his disappointment at the BBC‘s decision to censor the scene.
