Well it's about time we got a different perspective on this event!
All we ever see is the ship going down!
A 12-part, $28 million British mini-series is currently in development called Titanic: Blood & Steel, and unlike its many predecessors, will chronicle the famed ship's actual construction, which took place in Belfast, Ireland in the early 1990s. Although it has yet to pick up U.S. distribution, it's garnering quite the cast, which includes Kevin Zegers, Chris Noth, Derek Joacobi, and Neve Campbell!
Apparently, Zegers will portray a meallurgist who discovers some serious flaws in the quality of the metal being used to build the Titanic, and Noth will play financier J.P. Morgan. Meanwhile, Jacobi will take the role of Lord William Pirrie, the chairman of the the company behind the Titanic, and Campbell will be a reporter covering its maiden voyage!
Very inneresting!
And like we said, given the amount of projects out there about the ship, we're excited to see a lesser known aspect of its tragic story!
What do U think?? Do U want to see Titanic: Blood & Steel?
Yeah, yeah. We know. You haven't even finished your back-to-school shopping yet.
Who cares! Hush up and enjoy! Things are about to get juicy!!!

The entire Osbourne family rose to previously unprecedented stardom with their reality TV show, The Osbournes, hit MTV in 2002, and now, it appears that children Kelly and Jack very well may be returning to their old stomping grounds by teaming up for a new series together!
Kelly reveals:
“The Osbournes always work together in some small way. We run things past each other and, for me, it’s like having a support system in everything you do. Jack and I hope to work on a TV project together — we talk about it all the time.”
Well, then, gurl, it's about time you two stopped talking and started MAKING THIS HAPPEN!
Show all these reality bitches what you two are made of!
You've done it before, and you can most CERTAINLY do it again!
Love it or hate it, Lionsgate is moving forward quickly with their Dirty Dancing remake!
Last we heard about the project, Jennifer Grey was defending the movie, and she expressed her confidence in Kenny Ortega's ability to take on the remake.
Now, Dirty Dancing progress continues, and Monte Carlo writer Maria Maggenti has signed on to write the screenplay.
Treat this script with care, Maria! You'll be fighting against A LOT of loyal fans who don't want anyone touching their favorite film!
How are U feeling about the Dirty Dancing remake? Do U think the Monte Carlo writer will be able to pull this off???
Yeah. Can someone come over here and re-attach our jaw?
It seemed to have fallen off, and we can't get it off the floor!
Dustin Lance Black will be premiering his new play 8 - which focuses on the federal case challenging Prop 8 - for one night only on September 19th in New York City as a benefit reading, which will not only feature an A-list ensemble of Morgan Freeman, Marisa Tomei, Anthony Edwards, Rob Reiner, John Lithgow, and Bradley Whitford, but according to new reports:
"Matthew Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson will be playing real life husbands Paul Katami and Jeff Zarrillo, central litigants in the Prop 8 trials."
AH-MAZING! And so HAWT, too!
Not to mention them both doing so to take a stand for equal rights!
That was our first response too, but apparently it's a law that was made in the 1800s and just hasn't been repealed.
But it's still a technicality, so even though it isn't enforced, it could be at any given time.
That is, unless Republican Ritch Workman succeeds in his repeal efforts.
Hey, a Republican that's doing something right! We like it!
He's also trying to repeal the adultery law which also fines a cheater $500 or 60 days in jail.
Another law he finds outdated is the one that requires bicyclists to keep at least one hand on the bars at all times. Now, we're not exactly sure why he'd want to repeal that. Sounds like a pretty safe measure to us...
