Billy Bob Thornton’s estranged daughter will not get a chance at retrial.
Earlier this year Amanda Brumfield was found guilty of aggravated manslaughter of a 1-year-old Olivia Madison Garcia.
We just got word that the judge denied her request for a new trial. Amanda may get up to 30 years in prison at her October 6 sentencing.
As a recap, Billy Bob's daughter claimed that while she was babysitting the child "was trying to climb out of a playpen and hit her head," but the defense argued that the fall might have aggravated "a previous injury," which could have caused the infant's death.
Something weird: Amanda Brumfield’s trial took place in the same courthouse where Casey Anthony’s trial was held.
Guess they're not letting all child killers get off that easily...

At a recent visit to Penn State, Rick Santorum apparently decided to defend himself against Piers Morgan's accusations that he's a bigot by essentially saying things about gay marriage that anyone with a brain in their head would define as bigotry - i.e., the usual right wing, intolerant garbage that it will undermine the sanctity of marriage that the Catholic church preaches, you know, DESPITE THE FACT THAT THERE IS SUPPOSED TO BE A SEPARATION BETWEEN CHURCH AND STATE!
Anybigot, one HARDCORE, amazing student in particular decides to beat him at his own moronic game, by explaining that the American Psychology Association, among other scientific groups, have discovered none of his points to be true, and well, we'll just let you watch the rest for yourself!

A New Mexico television station recently ran a story regarding surveillance photos taken of Police Officer Bert Lopez, in full uniform, banging an unidentified female on the hood of a car, in BROAD DAYLIGHT at Santa Fe Canyon Ranch!
Worse yet - this guy was once awarded New Mexico State Police Officer of the Year for "having gone above and beyond the call of duty."
Well, they got that part right! LOLz!
