Whaaaa?!?
Even though Kelly Clarkson may have lost some Twitter followers after her recent endorsement of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul, it looks like it was actually a great move on her part as her album sales on Amazon have had a 200% increase in just 72 hours!!!
On Tuesday, her album Stronger was ranked 41 on Amazon's "Movers and Shakers in Music" list. Three days later, (after her endorsement tweet that said "I love Ron Paul), BOOM, the album was bumped up to the #13 spot.
Crazy! Could this be a sign of the times - a foreshadowing when it comes to the presidential race in 2012?? Or did her sales increase just because her name was in the news??
Who knows?! But, way to go, Kelly! Good PR move! LOLz.

Early last week we got to check out a German-language trailer for the upcoming superhero film The Avengers which featured a lot of new, previously unseen footage from the film. Today we get to check out a Russian-language trailer for The Avengers that features even more new, previously unseen footage. The trailer is dubbed in Russian but an industrious member of ONTD! managed to provide a decent translation. Check out the new Russian trailer for The Avengers below.

It seemed like Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt hit it off in 500 Days of Summer, but they actually knew each other long before filming that movie. According to Zooey, they’ve been friends for almost 12 years now. She says they have a lot of fun together and she hopes “to do a thousand more movies with him because he’s simply the best.” Not only do they enjoy acting together, but they love to sing together too. They recently recorded a video singing “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?” Deschanel posted the duet on her website to wish her fans a happy holiday.
Zooey and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are just a few of the many stars that like to sing as much as they like to act. Here are a few other actresses that sing too.
Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwyneth Paltrow sang for her role in the film Country Strong and has since appeared on Glee and performed at the Country Music Awards and the Grammys.
Leighton Meester
Leighton Meester, who plays Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl, signed a recording contract in 2009 and released a few singles soon after. She frequently performs songs she wrote and also sang for her role in Country Strong.
Ahhh, yes. Thank goodness for Kathie Lee Gifford.
She's the crazy drunk aunt that we always enjoy seeing twice a year around the holidays.
So, on The Today Show with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee, the women were discussing what life was like before Hoda met her boyfriend, Jay.
That's when Kathie Lee made the ultimate faux pas (one that we are so HIGHlariously thankful for) and referred to it as "Before Jay. BJ."
When Hoda laughed in second-hand embarrassment for her co-host, Kathie Lee acted all clueless and was like, "What? What did I say?"
That's when we LOLed for what felt like several minutes.
Thank you for keeping us on our toes, Kathie Lee. We will heart you forever.

So … December 30 … New Year’s Eve Eve … can you believe it? It doesn’t seem like that long ago that we were welcoming in 2011 in the hopes of a fresh and happy new year. I, personally, had a great 2011 … but a great many other people didn’t have the best year ever so … here we are, hopeful again for a better year to come. I’m always hesitant to succumb to making New Year’s Resolutions but, invariably, I almost always do make them. I may not talk about them publicly but within myself, I do make resolutions. I’m not always successful in bringing those resolutions fully to bear but … I try. This year, I’ve come up with a resolution that I’m pretty excited about but I know me and I know that that kind of excitement doesn’t always last. Still … I’m gonna give it a try.
