When The Hunger Games first came to our attention, the first thing someone told us was that it was "like Twilight." We understood the comparison: based on YA novel, sort of a love triangle going on...

But the more we learned about the book (and the fandom) we learned there is nothing Hunger Games fans hate more than their story being compared to Stephenie Meyers' vampy tales! Legit, a Tribute will cut you if they hear you say anything about Bella Swan and Katniss Everdeen in the same breath.

With that in mind, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth were both asked to comment on the comparison themselves and put to rest the theory that a fan of Twilight would find a lot of the same story elements in The Hunger Games.
