3 Celebrities, Including Demi Moore, Who Were Treated For Exhaustion
Posted by
Demi Moore was rushed to the hospital Monday night and is now being treated for exhaustion. The 49-year-old actress was taken to a local hospital late that night after a 30-minute assessment in her home. A spokesman for the L.A. City Fire Dept. confirmed that they received an emergency call at 10:49 p.m. for “an unknown illness related to that address.” They then transported one patient to the hospital at 11:21 p.m. Her rep released a statement Tuesday to explain Moore’s need for help. Demi is seeking “professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health” because of all “the stresses in her life right now.” Moore is looking forward to a full recovery and is “grateful for the support of her family and friends.” She was just spotted partying in Hollywood with her daughter and was recently cast in the upcoming film Lovelace, but she’s going to lay low now instead. Her rep said she will no longer be working on that project.
Because of stars’ on-the-go busy lifestyle, they sometimes get overwhelmed and need to take time for themselves to focus of their health. Here are a few other celebrities that, like Demi Moore, were treated for exhaustion.
Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga cancelled several shows in 2010 due to exhaustion and fatigue. She apologized to fans because she “would never cancel a show just based on discomfort,” but the paramedics told her that her heart rate was irregular and she really needed to be taken care of.
Rihanna
Rihanna faced exhaustion while touring in Sweden recently. She cancelled a few shows due to health concerns and even tweeted a picture of her arm hooked up to an IV.
