In the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Lawrence opens up about the start of her journey as Katniss, the heroine of the highly-antipated adapted movie The Hunger Games . While most actresses wouldn't give the opportunity as second though, Jennifer reveals that she slept on the decision for three days before she said yes.

Jennifer explains:

"I was so in love with the books and the script, and suddenly the decision was right in my face and the size of the decision was terrifying. I called my mom and she called me a hypocrite, because when I was doing indie movies and everyone was asking why I didn't do studio movies, I said, 'The size of the movie doesn't matter.'
