While everyone seems to be all wrapped up in Lana Del Rey, I am really falling in love with another young female musician named Azealia Banks. Azealia, who used to record under the name Miss Bank$, is an extremely talented rapper from Harlem, NY who has dropped one of the most infectious songs that I’ve heard in years. Her song 212 has been making the rounds online for a few months now and The New York Times finally noticed. AZEALIA BANKS, a 20-year-old rapper from Harlem, has a filthy mouth. Very few lines, and not a single verse, of her hit song “212” can be reprinted in this newspaper. The song’s stark black-and-white video, shot before a plain brick wall, has been viewed more than three million times on YouTube.
