Sister Sledge Hammers Warner Music With Lawsuit

Sister Sledge's hay day was back before digital downloading became an issue.
But due to some clever wordplay and maneuvering by Warner Music, they may have been gipped for MILLIONS of dollars!
The sister act and songwriter Ronee Blakely have banded together with a 35 page class action lawsuit against Warner Music.
Warner Music classifies digital downloads as sales rather than licenses. Sales offer far less royalties and less restriction so one can see why the company do so.
But the sisters are not having it!
Other artists are expected to come forward with the lawsuit. Newer artists cannot as their contracts explain the difference before they choose to sign them.
If Sister Sledge and other artists win this case, then the payout will be colassal.
Reports state that hundreds of MILLIONS of dollars are at stake.
We do not want to be in any of Warner's big wigs' shoes right now!
