Adam Lambert DENIES He’s The New Frontman For Queen!!

Last week, we all thought Adam Lambert had finally been chosen as Queen's new frontman.
We mean, it definitely sounded like it when he said:
There’s no intention in my mind of replacing Freddie. That’s impossible. The way I’m choosing to view it is that it’s a great honour and one I’m in no way going to shirk... Being asked to front Queen is the best thing that can possibly happen.
But later, he took to Twitter to clear it all up, saying:
Oooh them clever reporters takin my quotes outta context.... I haven't confirmed any guest appearances. I was talking about the EMA'S.
That being said, I'm truly flattered by your jump to such glorious conclusions mr journalist!!
Well shiz!! Then why were his original quotes worded as if he meant the present and not the past??
His Queenie EMA performance was back in November!! And the publication that published it used the quotes as if Adam was confirming and explaining the news!
Guess there's more context missing... or some really late reporting with those quotes, LOL!!
