Mary-Kate And Ashley Olsen Set To Expand The Empire

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s empire looks poised to expand (as if it wasn’t big enough already), with the appointment of FranCois Kress to head up their couture label, The Row. Kress comes with some serious credibility and a killer resume – before joining the Olsen empire, he was Prada’s US president and CEO and before that at Bulgari Corporation and LVMH. Mary-Kate and Ashley say they are looking to expand the brand and created the new role for Kress as a means to do so. Read on for more of the deets…
Mary-kate said “He quickly became the obvious choice for us and for the brand, having experience in multiple categories which we feel is essential for growth of The Row” and Ashley added “His experience and sensibility will add great value to The Row in its next phase of development.”
They’ve certainly come a long way since their Michelle Tanner days in Full House. They may not be as adorable, but these girls know how to get it done.
