Quitting any bad habit is hard, but these 5 stars have all battled against their need for a cigarette and have successfully given up smoking. For some it took years of trying to quit, while for others they say it was easy once they gave it a chance. Jennifer Aniston claims that she put on a little weight when she quit after meeting new boyfriend Justin Theroux, while singer Pink has to give up for breastfeeding purposes and doesn’t even drink as much these days for the same reason.

When asked if she was pregnant, Jennifer said she has quit smoking so she put on some weight: “It’s just I quit smoking, so I’ve gained a couple of pounds. I am not planning to get married any time soon. This ring that I’m wearing is not an engagement ring.I’ve been married once and I don’t know if I’ll get married again, but I can tell you that as of this very moment, as of today, I have no plan to get married”.

Pink had to quit smoking so she could breastfeed, and she’s stopped drinking so much too: “I’m used to going into the studio and smoking and drinking until three in the morning. But I can’t drink as much because I’m breastfeeding. See this glass of wine? Before, I’d have, like, four of them. Now, one is good. Oh, and I quit smoking…”

After welcoming a new daughter, Mel decided to quit smoking once and for all, and after a few days found it easy to kick the habit: “The first three days, you’re an axe murderer. On day four you might take a bat to someone. Day five? You’re OK. I’ve lost five pounds and I can breathe all the way out.”

Kanye West’s short film ‘Cruel Summer’ received a standing ovation at Cannes Film Festival after its debut, proving that Kanye can actually do something to critic acclaim other than make music! The film was shown on 7 screens and featured separate images, all of which told a connecting story. Speaking on the film, Kanye said that his inspiration came from a painting he created as a teenager:
”When I was 17 and at high school, I made a painting that had seven angles to it, to create a 360-degree picture and now I’m 34 I created something similar. The way we work these days is like sensory overload. Normally when watching a movie we are on the phone or texting. Normally we have so much going on at us, this film represents that, as there is so much going on all the time. We constantly need more things to look at and the seven-screen experience represents the next generation. I was very particular about having the screens separate, where your mind puts the screens back together, the way you put memories together. I’m not the best director in the world, but I had an idea that I thought would be amazing to inspire people, like a dream of one day this being the way people watch movies.”
Speaking to the crowd at the film festival, Kanye tells people they should re-watch the film over and over again because it is an experience of life, and you can find new things in the film each time you watch:

Irish actor Michael Fassbender has shared a little too much information that we probably didn’t need to know, but if anyone can get away with oversharing some intimate details, it’s him.
