Lindsay Lohan is so desperate for money that she has resorted to asking strangers to buy her things. Lohan attended an amfAR benefit earlier this week, which raised more than $1.4 million for AIDS research. The event included a charity auction attended by stars such as Jennifer Hudson, Elizabeth Hurley, and Linda Evangelista and was held at Cipriani Wall Street. Other attendees said that Lindsay was spotted chatting up a wealthy Canadian businessman right before the auction. As soon as the auction began, Lindsay sent an assistant over to the businessman to say, “Lindsay would very much like it if you’d bid on this item as a gift.” The item she wanted was a diamond watch with a white alligator strap. The man “just cracked up” at the suggestion and the watch went to another bidder.

Berry is contemplating moving out of the United States because she fears for her life and Nahla’s life. Serious threats against both of them have been made and Halle thinks getting out of the country is the only way to avoid the danger. She’s even more concerned now that Robert Hoskins, a “highly psychotic” man, escaped from a Los Angeles mental hospital last week. He was convicted of threatening to kill Madonna, but has also made death threats against Berry, specifically that he would “slit her throat.” Another stalker that repeatedly trespassed onto Halle’s property was also just released from jail. She’s concerned that not only will these 2 men try to find her again, but also that other tourists will find out where she lives through Hollywood bus tours or maps that guide tourists to celebrities’ homes. Nahla’s father Gabriel Aubry is trying to stop Halle from moving and taking their daughter with her and hopes to convince the judge involved in their custody battle not to allow the move.

Kate Beckinsale has spoken on filming her sex scene with Colin Farrel for the remake of Total Recall. Kate said that Colin had to awkwardly fondle her, while saying the scene was worse for Colin to film:

Macaulay Culkin caught everyone’s attention yesterday when he was out and about in New York City, but not for a good reason. The Home Alone star, now 31 years old, is looking extremely skinny these days. Culkin showed off messy hair and facial scruff while drinking Red Bull and posing with fans on the street. His thin frame sparked worries about his health, which his rep quickly tried to stop. Macaulay’s rep insists the actor “is in perfectly good health” and that it’s “reckless, irresponsible, and destructive” for any media outlet to report otherwise. He asked that everyone “discontinue the rumor” that Culkin is not in good condition. Macaulay faced a troubled childhood following his role in the Home Alone films, including a dispute with parents that resulted in a lawsuit and an arrest for possession of marijuana and 2 controlled substances. Hopefully his emaciated look isn’t an indication of any other problems in his life. The actor will be working again soon – he’s expected to star in the British film Service Man which will be released in 2013.

Jennifer Lopez feels as though the media often pick on her, which is why she tries to stay away from the spotlight as much as possible, while she makes sure to focus her attention on the good things that are going on if her life:
