And no, Gisele was not given pain medication at home while giving birth.

'I wanted to be very aware and present during the birth... I didn't want to be drugged up. So I did a lot of preparation, I did yoga and meditation, so I managed to have a very tranquil birth at home.

It didn't hurt in the slightest.

The whole time my mind was focused in each contraction on the thought 'my baby is closer to coming out'.

It wasn't like 'this is so painful'. So I transformed that intense feeling into a hope of seeing him.'

Bundchen says her son didn't cry after being born and rested in her lap for a long time.

'It's wonderful,' she said. 'Never in my life I thought I could love like this.'

Okay. Now I know people who've tried to use meditation to help with the pain, and who didn't have an epidural, but I haven't heard anyone say those techniques made the birth PAINLESS.

Gisele reportedly told this to a Brazilian interviewer, I'm assuming in Portugese. Maybe something was missed in the translation? Do you know anyone who used meditation/yoga instead of medication and felt NO PAIN during childbirth?

Although Gisele Bundchen only gave birth to her first child, Benjamin, less than two months ago, she's already back to doing photoshoots! A reporter from Brazilian magazine Fantastico had an interview with Gisele and described the model this way:

[T]he new mom looked radiant, beautiful and as "in shape as always, six weeks after the birth of her baby."

Goodness! Gisele reportedly wasn't shy about discussing the details of Benjamin's birth. She opted against giving birth in a hospital.

"I gave birth in the bathtub," at the couple's Beacon Hill penthouse.

Well, that's one way to keep things private- lol. (Although, as I think about it, do you recall seeing any pictures of celebrities entering/leaving the hospital right before/after giving birth?)

It sounds like everything is working out well for Gisele and dad Tom Brady. Did you opt to give birth at home or do you know anyone who did? How did it go?
