The first promo for The X Factor season 2 asks viewers if they're ready for a pair of very famous new judges.
But what about those judges themselves? Demi Lovato and Britney Spears sure sounded ready today when they touched down in Austin, Texas for their very first round of auditions.
"So excited to be going to Austin this week for @TheXFactorUSA auditions!" Spears, who was accompanied to Austin with Jason Trawick, Tweeted. "Will I see any of y'all there on Thurs or Fri?"
Added Lovato via the same social network:
"It's my first day... woo hoo!! Who's coming??!!! #XFACTORUSA."
Approximately 200 hopefuls will face Demi, Britney, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid during four three-hour show tapings over the next couple days. And from there, it's off to another city... and then another... and then another.

Yesterday we learned that Marvel Comics is planning to feature its first same-sex marriage when Astonishing X-Men #51 is released next month. Today we get our FIRST LOOK at the variant cover for that issue of the comic. As you may know, out gay superhero Northstar (real name Jean-Paul Beaubier) proposed to his longtime boyfriend Kyle Jinadu in Astonishing X-Men #50 (on sale NOW). Next month, the guys say I Do … click below to see what the variant cover of #51 will look like.
Oftentimes, comic book companies release two different covers for their comic book titles and especially so when big events like this take place. This is the variant cover of Astonishing X-Men #51 … which means you’ll have to look for it if you want to own it. The regular cover will be more easy to find (and will likely be the copy you receive if you have your comics delivered to your home). Serious collectors will want to own both. Now, I don’t collect Astonishing X-Men but this is an issue I’ll have to pick up when it is released next month. I’ll deffo be picking up both covers, will you?

SO, the minds behind Maroon 5 have decided to release an anniversary edition of Jane, complete with unreleased and re-mastered tracks, behind-the-scenes footage, and NEW material!
AND the band will also unleash new album Overexposed, featuring hit tune Payphone, in the same week!

The deluxe anniversary disc will be available for purchase in the US June 5, and in the UK June 25th.

Wednesday night Joshua Jackson and his lovely movie star gal pal, Diane Kruger were talking wedding bells at the fancy Nights in Monaco gala benefit at Cannes!
During the gala's live auction, Josh bid for -- and bought -- a necklace with 11.7 carats of white diamonds set in 18-karat rose gold for $45,000.
According to a fellow gala attendee:
"He said he was looking for the 'perfect engagement gift.'"
AH!!! OMG, we hope this is true!
We've wanted to see Josh find love since his days on the Creek!
Plus, the 33-year-old Fringe actor has been dating the movie star for forever six years. If you ask us, now sounds like the perfect time to tie the knot!

The scrubs over at the Honda dealership got no love for T-Boz!
The TLC rapstress is being sued by Honda for failing to make payments on her 2005 Honda Odyssey. YIKES!
T-Boz (aka Tionne Watkins) filed for bankruptcy last year but failed to complete the required paperwork. As a result, she lost the protection bankruptcy provides. We told her "don't go chasing waterfalls, finish your paperwork first!" but she just didn't listen! LOL!
Sounds like Boz, Chilli and Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes' hologram need to start selling tickets for their reunion tour ASAP!
