We have been getting a steady stream of news about Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s directorial debut the past few months and today we get to see our first look of JGL on the set of his new movie. They have also revealed the name of this highly anticipated film – Don Jon’s Addiction. As you may recall, starring alongside Joseph, who is also the director and writer, is Scarlett Johansson,Tony Danza and Julianne Moore. Don Jon’s Addiction is reportedly about a contemporary, porn-addicted Don Juan-type, played by JGL, as he attempts to become less selfish. Jo has definitely been working out for the role (check out his biceps and pecs!) and is looking great, aside from that hair. Oh, that hair is bad. I always love me some Joseph, and I still do, even when I’m not loving his haircut. The sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation was supposed to come out this summer on June 29th. Early last week it was finally announced that our dear Britney Spears signed on as judge for the forthcoming second season of The X Factor (alongside Simon Cowell, Antonio LA Reid and Demi Lovato) and today we get to check out the first TV commercial released for the show. Yesterday we got to see a moving tribute to the late Robin Gibbfrom his only remaining brother, Barry in the form of a poignant YouTube video. Today we have another celebrity, Beyoncé Knowles, paying her respects to the great Bee Gee musician.Bey posted a kind message onto her website yesterday along with a link to the original Bee Gee single, Emotion, which was sung by Australian singer, Samantha Sang. The Bee Gees were an early inspiration for me, Kelly and Michelle. We loved their songwriting and beautiful harmonies. Recording their classic song, “Emotion,” was a special time for Destiny’s Child. Sadly we lost Robin Gibb this week. My heart goes out to his brother Barry and the rest of his family.

Since the news broke in March that Charlize Theronadopted a baby boy, Jackson, we have got to see some gorgeous pics of the little man, but we haven’t learned many details about him. Charlize has been very private about the whole matter, but has spoken publicly for the first time about her new family to Ellen DeGeneres revealing how old little Jackson was when she took him home and where he is from. Watch the new mom talk openly about the emotional journey she went on to bring her son into her family.
Jackson was 9 days old when Charlize took him home to her two dogs. She spoke candidly for the first time to Ellen about the fact that she is a single mother, but hasn’t found the adjustment to caring for a baby on her own difficult because she has had her dogs helping her. She also revealed that Jackson is not South African, as some people had believed given that Charlize herself was born there, he is American.

Last night the sexy 21 year old man with the guitar and double name, Phillip Phillips, took home the title of 2012′s American Idol. His unique voice and style ensured he claimed the 11th season win. Phillip accumulated a huge number of fans this season (a lot of young girls who find him adorable), and even though his competitor in the finale, Jessica Sanchez, has a phenomenal voice (and wowed the judges with her rendition of Whitney Houston’s classic hits) ultimately it came down to Phillip who was most loved by America. They announced on last night’s finale that a record number of people voted this season with 132 million votes! Are you happy that Phillip Phillips won?
If you missed last night’s finale, the show was a star-studded event with special musical guests and performances. Rihanna performed her new single, Where Have You Been and showed off her new dreadlocked look, and Idol judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler got onto the stage as well. News has surfaced today that Alison Brie is dating Dave Franco, the younger brother of James Franco. Us Weekly is reporting that the two low key lovebirds have been quietly seeing each other for close to six months already. Alison currently stars in the NBC sitcom Community as Annie Edison, and is a regular member of the Mad Men cast, playing Trudie Campbell. Us Weekly broke the news that Alison and Dave are dating after they were spotted shopping together in L.A. over the weekend holding holds and looking very love-dovey. Apparently, a “source” told them that they have been dating for “at least five or six months.”
Aww… I think these two make a gorgeous couple. Alison seems like a sweetheart and I think Dave is lucky to have nabbed her. To me, she is Trudie from Mad Men through and through though, I have trouble imagining her as anyone else.
