Keifer Sutherland fans pulled through!!

His new show, Touch, raked in 12 million viewers during its early preview, scoring a very impressive 3.9!

Touch retained 61% of American Idol viewers, making it the best dramatic retainer after Idol… like, ever.

Good to know Keifer can still touch so many with his acting… bet he’s celebrating now!

24 Movie Set To Start Shooting THIS SPRING!!!!

Jack is SO back!

Last we heard about the upcoming 24 movie, producer Brian Grazer had confirmed that it would be released in 2012!

Now, we're hearing that The Wolverine writer Mark Bomback's screenplay will be complete by the end of the year, and the GOAL is for the film to start shooting this spring, once Kiefer Sutherland becomes available.

Awesome! We can't wait to see what kind of IN-TENSE situations Jack Bauer gets into on the big screen!

The 24 star is returning to FOX next spring, starring in a brand new thriller-drama called Touch. We could attempt to explain the premise to you, but we think it would be better for you to see for yourself what's to come. It looks really epic!

Kiefer Sutherland Talks More About His Touching Television Series!

We were thrilled when we heard the news of Kiefer Sutherland once again teaming up with Fox for an epic series of a show!

After 24, we wondered what else the man could properly do with his time, but he found it with Touch.

Like we told you before, the new series deals with a father learning his mute son has a very special and unique gift.

And Kiefer couldn't be happier with the new project, saying:

After 24 I didn’t expect to be back to television quite as quickly as I have. It was an incredible experience and I really wanted some time to digest it and there was more to digest than I thought. There were films I wanted to do.

I got to about page twenty five (of the Touch script) and I remember I put it down and just said 'sh*t' there's no way around it, I have to do it.

Jack Bauer Is Back! Kiefer Returning To FOX With New Series!

All right! Could lightening strike twice for FOX?!

The network has reportedly picked up the new Tim Kring pilot Touch, which stars 24's very own Jack Bauer AKA Kiefer Sutherland as a father who discovers that his mute son possesses a unique and incredible special gift, for a 13-episode midseason order!

According to the official press release:

At the center of TOUCH is MARTIN BOHM (Sutherland), a widower and single father, haunted by an inability to connect to his mute 11-year-old son, JAKE (David Mazouz). After multiple failed attempts at keeping Jake in school, Martin is visited by CLEA HOPKINS (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), a social worker sent to evaluate Jake’s well-being. Everything changes when Martin discovers that Jake possesses the gift of staggering genius – the ability to see things that no one else can and the patterns that connect seemingly unrelated events. Jake is indeed communicating. But it’s not with words, it’s with numbers. Martin meets ARTHUR DEWITT (Danny Glover), a professor and an expert on children who possess special gifts when it comes to numbers. NCIS Actor Arrested For Felony Battery!

Yuck.

David Dayan Fisher, best known for his roles on 24 and NCIS, was arrested yesterday after allegedly attacking his neighbor over - get this - a disagreement over swimming pool towels!

According to authorities, the actor allegedly hit and choked the victim. He's being held in jail on felony battery charges.

Good!

We don't care how heated that ridiculous argument got - he has NO business putting his hands on anyone!

Unbelievable.

Kiefer Sutherland And GF Split!

Too bad!

Kiefer Sutherland and GF Siobhan Bonnouvrier have broken up after nearly three years together!

Here's what a source close to Siobhan had to say about the break-up:

"They've split for now."

The source also went on to say that things are "transitional and ever changing."

Does that mean that you two might get back together, Siobhan? If so, you better not wait TOO long! We wouldn't be surprised if Kiefer finds someone else within 24 hours soon.

Osama Bin Laden’s Death Spurs Jack Bauer Love On Twitter

Guess it makes sense that people would make this connection…

Following the announcement about Osama Bin Laden's death last night, 24's Jack Bauer became a trending topic on Twitter.

Seems like people were intrigued by the concept that somebody like Jack Bauer could have helped to provide the intelligence that led to Osama's death.

Last we heard, the 24 movie will be coming out next year, so we're thinking we may see Jack Bauer trending a whole lot more on Twitter in the near future.

24 Movie Will Hit Theaters Next Year!

Back in January, Jack Bauer fans got the exciting news that the 24 movie would start shooting sometime around September 2011.

Now, we've learned that the 24 movie will hit theaters in 2012…and that comes directly from Kiefer Sutherland's mouth himself!

Sutherland broke the news during a recent appearance on The View.

We kind of assumed it would come out in 2012, but updates are always good..especially when it's a movie that's been anticipated for such a long time!

And yes, we'd love to hear an update like this for the Arrested Development movie. Come on!
