Kiefer Sutherland drunkenly made a fool out of himself? BLASPHEMY.

Or, actually, just a reality of day-to-day life!

The 24 actor once again proved to the world just how together he has it by getting epically shitfaced at Gaslight in Manhattan until 4am!

Sources claim that he was "swaying, bobbing and weaving," and when he refused to leave, "his friends had to pick him up by the shoulders and get him out of there."

ClASSy as always, bb!

Hope you're enjoying that bloody mary and ibuprofen this morning!

Just another day in the whiskey-infused life of Kiefer Sutherland!

The actor was apparently spotted at the Bowery Hotel in NYC getting his drunk on in a big way!

According to a source:

“Kiefer got so drunk, he took off his shirt and tried to take the pictures off the wall at the bar. He eventually calmed down and was not asked to leave the hotel.”

Boy, get it together!

Or if not, Celebrity Rehab is probably still taking applicants! Now that 24 is canned, it's not like you're working!

24 Star Pulls Out Of Emmy Race

We thought she was too classy for this!

It seems 24 star Cherry Jones is pulling a Katherine Heigl. The respected actress has withdrawn herself from consideration for an Emmy nomination for her role as U.S. President Allison Taylor on the hit Fox show.

Cherry took home Best Supporting Actress in a Drama last year, but took herself out the running because she was not happy with her storyline this season.

She said the following to EW in May:

"By the end of the season, these guys (producers) are just this side of brain dead. They have been trying so hard. They don't have an arc. Most TV shows would have an arc and they would figure out how to nudge everybody in the direction they wanted to go… (The producers) try to follow things they think will be the most shocking."

Yikes!

None of these series finales are really taking over the way they were expected to!

After Lost's solid, but not staggering, ratings for its series finale, 24 followed suit with a 6.6 rating/10 share in a 56 metered market - which was only a tenth up from its average last week!

Not terrible, but not great!

What do U think?? Did U watch last night's series finale of 24??

The Clock Runs Out On ‘24’

Published on May 25, 2010 By Pink Is The New Blog

And so … 24 comes to an end. Last night Fox aired the 2-hour season finale episode of the long-running action/drama 24 and brought to a close what I consider one of the best television programs to ever air in the US. I’ve been a longtime fan of 24 and even tho some of the more recent storylines have left me wanting more, I have to say that overall the series is absolutely one of my all-time favorite TV shows. I thought it was very fitting that the finale ep of the series took place between the hours of 2 and 4 PM … bringing to an end, once and for all, the last day of Jack Bauer’s television life:

After the jump, check out a few screencaps from last night’s finale ep and read some of my thoughts on the end of 24. Also, check out an amazing promo video made by Fox that highlights some of the most exciting characters and moments from 24’s 8 season run …

ATTENTION: 24 SPOILER ALERT WARNING

So … we know that the whole season has been leading up to a showdown between Jack Bauer and the higher-ups of (Read more...)

‘24’ Ends Tonight

Published on May 24, 2010 By Pink Is The New Blog

Now that we’ve borne witness to the last episode of the ABC series Lost we can turn our attention tonight to the last episode ever of the Fox series 24. That’s right, after 8 seasons of pulse-pounding excitement, time will finally run out on the 24 TV series:

The Atlantic boldly maintains that 24 is “the most influential TV drama of all time”, claiming the show has had a deeper impact on television than even The Sopranos, The Wire, Hill Street Blues, or ER. That is high praise (which I, for the most part) agree with. 24 really set a new standard in TV. It started out as a very novel idea … each episode of the 24 ep season would represent “in real time” one full day in the life of American superhero Jack Bauer. The show stayed true to that formula for all 8 seasons … and, much to my chagrin, altho the show may have run out of inventive ways to tell new and exciting stories it really provided more thrills than any TV show that I can think of. Jack Bauer saved the world from nuclear attack (among other (Read more...)

24 Spoilers!

Don't read if you don't want to know Jack Bauer's fate!

Executive producer of 24 Howard Gordon has revealed that Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) will not be getting a happy ending when the series finale airs on May 24.

"We considered several very different endings," he says. "We tried 'happily ever after' and it didn't work. This show is a tragedy. To give Jack a happy ending wouldn't have felt authentic."

Gordon reveals that a final showdown will take place involving Jack's friend Chloe (Mary Lynn Rajskub) and President Allison Taylor (Cherry Jones).

It's expected that Jack will survive though since a 24 movie is potentially in the works.

Will U be tuning in to the big 2-hour finale?
