At least, in some places they do!
Most places you go to see 3-D movie at offer you recycled, plastic specs to enjoy Avatar in your face.
However, there are some places that offer the experience with electronic 3-D glasses. Sounds fancy right? Well, it's not.
In fact, one critic at the Wall Street Journal gave the Clash of the Titans flick a biased review since his glasses made the images look "murky." After the review was printed, the film's 3-D converters invited the critic to watch segments at their office. After seeing the real deal, it was concluded that electronic 3-D glasses, while built to blow your mind, need to charged or changed of batteries every couple of uses. When they aren't, Megan Fox just looks like she is running away from a big set of LEGOs.
So make sure you are getting your money's worth if you can afford (and find) a theater that offers these electronic specs.
Because you're worth it!

Oh, good.
Because going to see a movie isn't already expensive enough!!
Now that 3-D films are the new fad, ticket prices are beginning to sky-rocket, and according to a recent survey, are 26% more expensive in some theaters!!
The report claims:
"If consumers absorb the price increases without issue, we believe it bodes well for the pricing power of the movie exhibition industry. It appears that each theater circuit has its own strategy related to price increases this weekend. Certain chains are raising prices across the board, some are focusing on the 3D ticket premium, and others are focusing only on raising adult ticket prices."
Absolutely ridiculous.
What do U think?? Are U willing to pay more to see flicks in 3-D??

We're sure television manufactures are loving James Cameron right about now.
Panasonic Corp. has announced their entire stock of 3-D televisions have sold out within their first week of being released in the United States!!
The televisions, which sold at Best Buy with a 3-D blu-ray player and special glasses, were priced at a staggering $2,899.99!!!
WTF??
According to analyst, Kazuharu Miura:
“There are always people who want to buy high-end products. That’s probably what’s driving sales.”
We guess so! However, don't expect everyone to have one of these suckers overnight.
Analyst Ichiro Michikoshi adds:
“It will probably take a long time for 3-D TVs to expand broadly, maybe about three years. There isn’t enough content and consumers dislike wearing the glasses. Those issues will take time to be solved.”
Damn right!! We're not investing in that stuff until everything's in 3-D, not just CGI alien smurfs and Johnny Depp!!
What do U think?? Will U purchase a 3-D TV??

We think that's probably best for his raunchy films!
Judd Apatow has said that he will not be joining the line of directors making movies using 3D technology because it would be "scary." He explains:
"I don't want everything in 3-D because I don't want to be in the middle of everything. Sometimes I want to be distant from it… I don't think anyone want to see Jason Segel's penis in 3-D."
We think he's right — SO right!

If you missed it in 3-D, you might get another chance to see James Cameron's epic Avatar this summer and with added scenes!
Cameron and Fox are in talks to re-release the highest-grossing film in late summer with added scenes as the recently released Alice in Wonderland has overtaken the Imax cinemas.
The director has said he could add up to 10-12 minutes of added footage and he'd be a fool not to! The demand to see the film in Imax is still there since nearby 3-D digital screens that are still playing Avatar have seen an increase in sales since Alice went up on Imax.
There are also talks of one or two Avatar sequels, but there is no script or deal in place yet.
We have a feeling we'll be seeing and hearing more about Avatar for quite some time!

Miley Cyrus' boy toy, Liam Hemsworth just landed the lead in Chuck Russell's 3D adventure Arabian Nights.
The film centers around a young commander, who now that their king has been murdered, joins forces with Sinbad and Aladdin to rescue Queen Scheherazade.
It is rumored to be shooting at the end of the summer.
How shall him and Miley be separated for such a shiteous film so long?!

We think they may want to re-work this as an end-of-days story, because this sounds like it's going to be a DISASTER!!
Paramount Pictures is planning a 3-D retelling of the Book of Genesis' story of creation, which will be called In The Beginning!!
If you're unfamiliar with the Bible story, the film will center around the weeklong period it took God to create the world, which ended with Adam and Eve on Day Six, and God chilling out for the 24 hour period afterward.
Producers think the 3-D visuals and $30 million proposed budget will attract families and religious-minded audiences, and we think they're probably right!!
We don't know though…is the the latest Hollywood gimmick the best way to retell a Bible story?? If they eff it up people are going to FREAK.
What do U think?? Are U going to go see In The Beginning???

While our beloved GaGaloo is busy taking over the world with her Monster Ball Tour and putting the finishing touches on her music video for Telephone with Beyowulf, a rep at her label, Interscope Records, revealed that "there are talks about a 3-D concert and DVD in the near future."
YES!! YES!! YES!!
Anyone who bought the deluxe edition of her album The Fame Monster knows that included a pair of 3-D glasses for no apparent reason. Is THIS what she's been prepping her fans for??
We don't know about YOU, but we'd LOVE a 3-D GaGa DVD!! We imagine she'd actually do something creative and interesting with the technology!!
What do U think?? Are U excited for a GaGalicious 3-D extravaganza??

Sources claim that that Percy Jackson kid, who in real life is named Logan Lerman, has officially been cast as the web-slinging superhero in the reboot of the Spider-Man movies, with Marc Webb, who made 500 Days of Zooey Deschanel, directing.
The story reportedly takes place when Peter Parker and company are still at high school in Queens, because apparently the Tobey Maguire version didn't cover that.
Oh wait. It did.
Webb is also asking James Cameron if they can use the Avatar director's cameras for this mess.
HA. We're sure Cameron is going to LOVE that.
We stand by what we said before: this whole reboot plan is STOOPID. The original isn't even EIGHT years old.
What do U think?? Are U excited about the new Spidey???
