Melissa McCarthy Remembers The Time She Met Meryl Streep & Brangelina On Ellen!

It's a big day in anyone's life when they meet Meryl Streep ... but to meet Meryl AND Angelina Jolie AND Brad Pitt all in the same day?

Well, we would've just keeled over!

But that is exactly what happened to Melissa McCarthy at the Golden Globes and she shared her HIGHlarious story with Ellen this afternoon on her birthday show. Check out the video (above) to hear how Melissa fangirled out on Meryl and made Brangelina stop talking so she could look at them.

Saint Angelina Jolie Honored In Sarajevo

Well deserved!

Angelina Jolie was honored today with a special award at the Sarajevo Film Festival. On the arm of her man Brad Pitt, Angie was presented the prestigious award for bringing attention to the plight of the Bosnia's refugees with humanitarian and film work.

Brad And Angie Are Getting Married?!?

What the what!?

This is so unexpected, yet according to multiple sources it's true: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are aiming to get married in the next few months!

The exact when and where is unknown, and we hear they're looking to have an intimate and informal ceremony.

Apparently, the reason why after holding out so long has to do with their kids, with Brad revealing:

"The kids ask about marriage. It's meaning more and more to them."

That's a wonderful reason to get married if you ask us. If it means a lot to your kids, and you love each other, then there is really no other reason not to!

We hope it all goes well. If you decide to let people in on the when and where, give us a call! We'd be more than happy to announce it for you! Ha!

Brangelina Helps Joplin

So wonderful!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie really are two caring individuals, if it isn't adopting children in need, it's donating money to causes — and they've just made a massive one to help out those affected by the tornadoes in Joplin.

Brad actually grew up around there, in Springfield, and had this to say about the staggering $500,000 donation they made towards long-term rebuilding efforts:

“With the devastating loss of thirty percent of the city, the Joplin community faces great challenges ahead. Having spent much of my childhood there, I know these people to be hardworking, humble and especially resilient.

“The locally based Community Foundation of the Ozarks will be working shoulder to shoulder with these Joplin residents for the long haul as they rebuild their lives. We, too, hope to further help with these rebuilding efforts,” he added, while Angelina said, “Our hearts go out to the families in Joplin who have lost so much.”

Seriously, this is incredible of them. They didn't have to donate anything at all, let alone the amount they did. It's so great to see them making an effort to better this world, for sure!

Angelina Jolie Isn’t A Fan Of The Education System

So she explains why she feels like her 6 kids are better off just skipping school.

Does Angelina just not think any kind of education is necessary and that the jetting around the world will take it's place?

No! Not at all, as she's employed different tutors and they adhere to a international program of education. Though, she IS the first to recommend that they pound away at their homework so they can get out and explore the world quicker!

Here's what she had to say:

‘I do think we live in a different age and the education system hasn't caught up with our children and our way of life. ‘But we travel and I'm the first person to say, "Get the school work done as quickly as possible because let's go out and explore." I'd rather them go to a museum and learn to play guitar and read and pick a book they love.’

Brad totally agrees too about the education system, and really does prefer the kids having a nomadic lifestyle to learn about the world!

Brad Pitt Wasn’t A Fan Of Christian Upbringing

Brad Pitt is at Cannes promoting the polarizing Tree of Life (we're talking people were both booing AND cheering), in which he's playing a father.

When asked about his own upbringing in an interview, he raise some concerns he had with having been brought up in a strict Christian household:

"I got brought up being told things were God's way, and when things didn't work out it was called God's plan. I've got my issues with it. Don't get me started. I found it very stifling."

Religion isn't really for everyone, and we aren't going to sit here and take sides. We can certainly understand how a very strict religious household could be stifling though, that's for sure.

We're all about choice around here. At some point, let your kids make their own decision! Just let them know to be a good person regardless of what they choose! They might even decide you were right all along, who knows??

Brad continued about his own kids:

Date Night For Brad And Angelina!

What better way to spend date night than to go to the theater??

Brad and Angelina found a sitter and went off into the night to enjoy some stage entertainment by seeing the debut of Gods of Carnage!

The play recently moved west after a successful run on the east, the newest cast even features the original actors Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini, and Marcia Gay Harden!

Sounds like an absolutely wonderful evening, guys!
