We were excited for Evangeline Lilly when she got cast in The Hobbit!
But now she's beginning to have second thoughts on her role and how it will play out with the heavy Lord of the Rings fan base.
The actress anxiously says:
I am very concerned that people will watch, and I’ll be the black mark on the film. I know how adamant the purists are and I’m one of them! That said, upon reading The Hobbit again, as an adult, I can see why additional characters were needed to round out the story as an adaptation — especially female characters! The Hobbit didn’t include female characters at all. What they have done is all in perfect keeping with J.R.R. Tolkien‘s world, while adding a third dimension to an otherwise very two-dimensional story.
Aww, don't worry 'bout a thang, gurl!
People will love you! Just don't screw it up!!! Ha! JK!

Truly heartbreaking.
Mike Starr, the Alice In Chains bass player who was tragically found dead yesterday, was reportedly mixing methadone and anxiety medications only hours before his passing.
According to his roommate, the musician was using methadone recently in an effort to get sober, but had also been taking anxiety meds to battle issue resulting from an arrest last month.
He reveals:
"Mike was a beautiful person who was fighting to stay sober…I am going to miss him greatly."
So unbelievably sad. We guess as hard as he tried, he never could overcome his addictions.
Our thoughts stay with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Andre says:
'You go through all that anxiety and you think it's the end of your life - but it's not. I woke up at 3am and I felt a hammering in my head. I started panicking and hyperventilating, my hands were sweating and I thought my heart was going to pop out of my body. You think you're having a heart attack. No matter how many times you've had it, every time you think, this is it, I'm going to die. There were times when it was so bad that I thought, am I better off? But you have to look at what's around you. My family were my entire life and I though, how are they going to live the rest of their lives? That's what stopped me. I won't go back (Read more...)
