Barbara Bush Supports Gay Marriage

In a break from her father's political views, Barbara Bush, daughter of former President George W. Bush, has expressed her support for gay marriage.

Vocally advocating for something her dad wanted constitutionally banned, Barbara filmed an emotional PSA for the Human Rights Campaign this week.

"New York is about fairness and equality," she says in the video (below). "Everyone should have the right to marry the person that they love.”

Barbara's break from her father's position is bold, but not unprecedented.

Meghan McCain, daughter of former Presidential candidate and U.S. Sen. John McCain, is a vocal gay marriage advocate, as is her mom, Cindy McCain.

The next Bush family gathering might be a bit awkward, but good for Barbara for having the courage to stand up for what she thinks is right.

The Bush Girls Get Festive!

A flapper and a dark angel, huh? Could have gone a little easier on the makeup, but the important thing is you're having a good time!

Former first daughters Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Bush were on hand at the first Annual UNICEF Masquerade Ball in N.Y.C. last night. The girls even took time out to pose with Caryl Stern, head of UNICEF.

Barbara Bush Released From Hospital!

Oh, good! She must be feeling better!

Former First Lady Barbara Bush was released from the hospital today after she was admitted a few days ago for a series of tests!

The hospital thinks that the 84 year old may have had a mild relapse for her Graves disease, which is a thyroid condition she was treated for back in 1989.

Wow! That took a while to rear its head again!

Glad to know she's okay, though! We hope Barbara takes it easy and recovers smoothly!

Barbara Bush Admitted To The Hospital

Oh no!

We hope she’s okay.

Former First Lady Barbara Bush was taken to the hospital on Saturday to undergo tests after feeling seriously under the weather!

Jean Becker, the former President George Bush‘s chief of staff, claims that it’s nothing serious and “this is definitely just in for tests.” She is expected to be released within the next few days.

We sincerely hope that it is nothing serious and she has a speedy recovery!! Being sick is the worst!!
