Beyoncé Knowles Named ‘The Most Beautiful Woman’ Of 2012 By ‘People’ Magazine

It’s that time of the year when People magazine releases it’s Most Beautiful People issue when they crown the year’s Most Beautiful Woman. Last year it was Jennifer Lopez. This year … it’s popstar/actress/new mom Beyoncé Knowles. BUT, Bey isn’t alone in sharing the Most Beautiful title this year … there are other beauties selected by People featured in the magazine as well. From film royalty to actual royalty, People magazine has curated a list of the women who they believe are the Most Beautiful in the world. Beyonce Named Most Beautiful Woman in the World!

She's a 16-time Grammy Award winner, a beauty and style icon, a wife and a mother. Now Beyonce can add World's Most Beautiful Woman to her resume.

People bestowed that honor upon her in its new cover story.

"I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth," the megastar said ... of becoming a mother for the first time this winter.

All other accolades and achievements pale in comparison, she says, to the love she and husband Jay-Z feel for baby Blue Ivy Carter, born Jan. 7 in NYC.

"She's just the cutest thing," gushes Beyonce, 30, who croons to her little girl and even professes to "love" changing her diapers along with Jay, 42.

So who does her daughter most resemble? "She looks like Blue," says Bey, who's already back to pre-pregnancy weight. "She's her own person."

"The best thing about having a daughter is having a true and unique legacy," she adds. "The word 'love' means something completely different now."

Beyoncé And Jay-Z Cosy Up At The New York Knicks Game

They really are such a cute couple and they have so much fun together. Last week, new parents, Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z, hung out in the sun and sea in St.Barts with their daughter, Blue Ivy. This week they are back in New York and sharing a few quiet moments just the two of them, courtside at Madison Square Garden to watch the New York Knicks taking on the Miami Heat. Check them out in the gorgeous pics below, as they touch each others faces, play footsies, and sip on beer just chilling.. Too cute!

How adorable are they? Beyoncé looks fab in her leopard print pants, black blouse and floppy black hat. Just before they hit up Madison Square Garden they grabbed some lunch in the West Village at a neighborhood Italian joint, Bar Pitti, one of my personal faves. For such a power couple, they really are remarkably down to earth in some ways.

Beyoncé Pens A Letter To Her Hero, First Lady Michelle Obama

Last week we learned that Beyoncé revamped her official website and launched a personal Tumblr blog. Today we get to read a letter the Bey hand wrote to First Lady Michelle Obama … and then shared with the entire world. It’s unclear why, exactly, Beyoncé wrote the letter but it reads like an elementary school project. You know, when the teacher instructs you to write a letter to a person you look up to and tell them why they are an inspiration. The grammar is a bit elementary, too, but that’s beside the point. Beyoncé Flaunts Her Beach Bod In St.Barts

Earlier in the week we saw pics of Beyoncé and her baby girl, Blue Ivy, on a yacht in St.Barts, where the family is on vacation. Today we have more photos from the Knowles-Carter spring holiday; we have great pics of the stunning new mom, Beyoncé, frolicking in the waves and laying on the beach with her hubby, Jay-Z. Blue Ivy has not yet ventured to the sand, so she must be catching some shut eye while mom and dad spend some time in the sun and sea. How hot is Beyoncé looking? In her black one-piece swimsuit she is sizzling. It is hard to believe that she gave birth to her daughter just a few months ago, January 7th, to be precise. Beyoncé really has one of those magnificent bodies that just oozes sex appeal, and this swimsuit is perfectly suited to her body shape IMHO. Beyonce Baby Weight: Totally Gone!

All the single ladies, put your hands up ... and prepare to be envious.

A little over two months after giving birth to her baby daughter Blue Ivy Carter, a smiling Beyonce stepped out last night and she looks ... wow. Just wow.

The singer got dolled up for a fundraising event for President Obama - the same one that drew headlines for Robert De Niro's "White First Lady" joke.

There was no controversy about this, though: She looked awesome!

Bey wore a snug navy dress by Victoria Beckham, sky-high heels and some dazzling bling (including a diamond-encrusted eagle) with her hair in a simple ponytail.

So what was Beyonce doing right in terms of new mom style?

"When you think of the things women dislike about themselves, the majority don't like their upper arms and also have skirt-length issues," one stylist told MTV.

"She's addressed both of these. It's an interesting choice because it's snug, not tight. There's a distinction between the two. It's body-flattering, for sure."

For sure.

Beyoncé And Jay-Z Surface At Nobu In NYC For A Monday Date Night

Yesterday we heard the exciting news that new mom Beyoncé will be performing 3 shows in Atlantic City in May. We have been seeing lots of pics of Bey the last few weeks out and about in New York City with her CUTE baby girl, Blue Ivy. At least once a week we are getting to see snaps of Bey and Blue strolling the streets of NYC… she was in TriBeCa last week with granny Tina Knowles, and Prospect Park in Brooklyn the week before. Last night, mom and dad left baby Blue at home and went out on the town for a Monday evening date night at Nobu in NYC. Check out the sweet pics of their night on the town.

Last night Beyoncé and Jay-Z hit the town to chow down some of New York’s best Japanese, at none other than TriBeCa hotspot, Nobu. The pics this morning show Bey looking hot (way better than her granny outfit last week.) Dressed in a fitted navy dress and with her hair pulled back off her face, Beyoncé looked anything but a tired, sleep-deprived new mom. She is actually glowing. New Mom Beyoncé Is Ready To Return To The Performance Stage

Beyoncé may have only given birth a couple of months ago but she is already ready to get back on the concert stage in order to get back to performing. Bey has been spotted out and about in public in the past few weeks but clearly that is not enough fresh air for her. She has announced today that she will perform 3 shows in Atlantic City, NJ in May. Who wants to see Beyoncé in concert?

Beyoncé is ready to hit the stage only months after giving birth to her’s and Jay-Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. In celebration of Revel’s $2.4 billion entertainment destination premiere, Bey’ will be performing at Ovation Hall in Atlantic City, NJ for three days: Friday, May 25 (9 p.m. EST), Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27 (8 p.m. EST). Aside from it being her first time on stage since Blue Ivy’s birth, it’s also her first time performing since 2011. Mama Beyoncé & Grandmama Tina Knowles Take Baby Blue Ivy For A TriBeCa Stroll

Rapper and new father Jay-Z spent his Monday rockin’ out in Austin, TX at the South by Southwest Festival but his family stayed home in NYC to hold down the fort. Singer and new mom Beyoncé bundled up her baby daughter Blue Ivy in a fancy baby carrier and stepped out in TriBeCa for an afternoon stroll with her mother Tina Knowles. Clearly Blue Ivy has grown too heavy for Beyoncé to carry with her arms so it was necessary for the new mom to invest in this expensive baby carrier. Plus, Beyoncé now has her arms free to carry her expensive purses. Brilliant. And I’m not sure what the eff is up with this outfit that B is rockin’ but maybe she didn’t want her mother to feel like the only grandmother. Bey‘s decision to dress in her grandfather’s clothes prolly went a long way in helping Grandma Tina feel better about herself. Is Tom Cruise Joining Beyoncé In Clint Eastwood’s ‘A Star Is Born’?

Months and months ago, before Beyoncé gave birth to her blessed baby, Blue Ivy there was excitement about her playing the lead role in the Clint Eastwood remake of A Star Is Born. The project was delayed for Bey to have her baby, and then a few weeks ago we heard that Beyoncé was in talks to do a new musical comedy from Glee creator, Ryan Murphy, One Hit Wonder. The production company had confirmed the project but they didn’t have a finalized script yet and apparently Beyoncé’s character was still being developed. Talk has turned to A Star Is Born because they want to start shooting this summer. They are filling out the rest of the cast and the actor in talks to join Beyoncé is slightly left of center, it is none other than.. wait for it, Tom Cruise!

This will be the fourth version of the film. The original from 1937 starred Janet Gaynor and Fredric March, then in 1954 it was remade and starred Judy Garland and James Mason. It was remade again in 1976 with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson and now in 2012 we have Clint Eastwood’s version (Read more...)
