Jennifer Lopez Dances Again Her Way To Power!

Mz. Jennifer Lopez is bringing in the cash and cashing in on this year's Forbes World's Most Powerful Celebrities list! But don't be fooled (by the rocks that she's got, got) -- she's still Jenny from the block!

From On The 6 to America's hit TV show, J.Lo tops this year's list at numero uno, for her "career reincarnation" and for earning $52 million over the last 12 months!!

The annual list is based on money AND fame, with fame being defined as media visibility and social media presence!

While Oprah stays snuggled in at second place like last year, Justin Bieber follows right after the talk show legend, ranking at number 3 and earning $55 million.

Pretty impressive!

Though second (second is the best...?), Oprah STILL ranks as number one in TV/Radio AND in earnings, making $165 million in just this past year!!!

Rihanna comes in at number four, with one million more in earnings than J.Lo, while Lady Gaga dropped from number one last year to number five in 2012, making just as much as Lopez.

Jake Gyllenhaal, Jay-Z And Tina Knowles: Party Pals!

What a weird craaaay group to party with!

Apparently Jake Gyllenhaal and Jay-Z are new BFFs!!

The two celeb fellows were recently spotted having a boys night out, at the Standard in NYC. The boys were having fun, hangn, drinkn, and watching the Knicks game in a roped off section of the club. Not the most normal clubbing experience, but what happens next is even more strange!

After a couple hours, Jay-Z's mother-in-law, Tina Knowles showed up!

Tina brought Beyonce's sister, Solange, along to spy party with the guys too!

Jay and Jake didn't seem to mind at all! An eye-witness to the fun tells us:

"They were very cheerful, laughing and enjoying the game. Several partygoers tried to steal pics."

Hmmmm.... do you think there's a chance the rapper was trying to set the actor up with Beyonce's sis??

Jay-Z Invites Obama To Perform At His Philadelphia Music Festival

Do it! Do it! Do it!

Jay-Z is launching the Made In America Music Festival this fall in Philadelphia ... but he may not be the biggest name in attendance. The famous rapper told Rolling Stone magazine that he "absolutely" wants Barack Obama to at least make an appearance or even perform!

He knows the Prez can belt out a few tunes without breaking a sweat and he definitely fits the festival's theme. Jay revealed to the mag:

"I'm gonna give him a call and I'm gonna try to get him to perform – do a little rendition of Al Green – but I doubt it. I think that opens up the political season. He'll be so far into helping the world that he probably won't have time, but I'm absolutely going to ask him."

We're sure Obama will be busy campaigning, but just one song on such a large stage would capture every young vote in attendance, that's for sure!

Even if the POTUS can't make the event, it sounds like there is a better chance that Beyoncé will be there.

Last night’s star-studded Met Ball had an amazing red carpet filled with stars clad in dresses by the likes of Prada, Givenchy, Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen. These 8 stars in particularly really lit up the event in their chosen ensemble, picking out the perfect dress for them. Rooney Mara went vampy in a black lacy Givenchy dress, Kate Bosworth stunned the crowd in a fringe Prada dress and dark lipstick, while Gisele Bundchen went classic in a black gown. Beyonce Shines in Givenchy Haute Couture at the 2012 MET Ball

Every now and then at red carpet events, there is a moment that stands out more than the others. The kind of moment that feels historical as it happens, and quickly becomes just that. New mom Beyonce hit the red carpet last night for the annual Met Ball,  dressed in a gorgeous semi-sheer black and violet dress crafted by Givenchy Haute Couture. First, the dress. With intricately placed black beaded detail which fits perfectly around the outline of the body, feather-light sheer  black chiffon and that amazing purple feathering on the train, Beyonce’s dress is flawlessly crafted with amazing attention to detail.

She wore a neat nude bodysuit underneath the dress to avoid any wardrobe malfunctions, and you can barely tell it’s there which adds to the seductive, daring nature of this look. She completed the ensemble with a bright yet flattering coral lipstick,  natural makeup and a sleek simple ponytail. Beyonce has never looked better, and this dress just freezes time – it is awe-inspiring in its design, and Beyonce is the perfect person to wear it – it matches her personality beautifully. An unbeatable combination that we won’t be forgetting any time soon – a truly elegant red carpet moment.

Beyonce Wins Top Honor… In Journalism!!!

The New York Association of Black Journalists has recently named Beyonce one of the year's top scribes!!

Wait, sorry... what!?!

Oooo... that's right!! She did write that Essence article back in July, didn't she??? What was it called again?? Oh, yeah... EAT. PLAY. LOVE.

That's riiight! We totally forgot all about her diary entry!! LOLz!

In the piece, she poignantly expressed how wonderful it was when she took a lil' break from her hectic music career to just enjoy time with herself.

Here, we'll share a bit of it with you:

I'm drawn to the ocean. Whether it's jumping from a yacht (those photos drive my mother crazy; she thinks it's dangerous), swimming, snorkeling in the Red Sea (I've never seen fish so breathtaking), or just walking on the sand, the sea has a calming effect on me. Croatia has the most beautiful water — although it's the saltiest I ever tasted. I floated on my back for close to an hour in the Mediterranean Sea. It was one of the best moments of my life.
