This is wonderful news!!

We've been hearing so many great things about this book!!

Object of Beauty is about a charismatic art entrepreneur who acquires her own gallery in NYC and finds herself dating and charming a number of men as she climbs both the social and the career ladder.

Steve Martin wrote the book so we already know it's gonna be ah-mazing when we actually find time to read it.

...but maybe we'll just wait for the movie! We love Amy Adams and we think she's the perfect woman to play this character!!

Producers Trudie Styler and Celine Rattray gush:

We couldn’t be happier to be working with the brilliant Amy Adams on this adaptation of Steve Martin’s smart novel. This project continues on Maven’s mission of making films that highlight strong female characters and talent.

Ahhh!!! Sounds so good!! We can't wait!!

We wonder who we'll see in the line-up of her lovers... Alexander Skarsgard, maybe?? Oooh we hope so!!

Johnny Depp’s Production Company Just Optioned Memoir By West Memphis Three’s Damien Echols

Published on February 8, 2012 By

That was quick!

Johnny Depp and his partner Christi Dembrowski and their Infinitum Nihil production company just nabbed the rights to an upcoming memoir about the West Memphis Three... which is being written by one of the Three himself -- Damien Echols!

It's still soon-to-be-published and still as-yet-untitled, but it reveals Echols' experiences on death row after his wrongful conviction and subsequent wrongful 18-year imprisonment for the 1993 murder of three eight-year-old boys in West Memphis, Arkansas. In other words, it's ripe and ready for the film treatment for sure! Plus, Depp has been eyeing the story for years!

The book is aiming for a September publish date, so we'll have to wait on that, plus a script to be written, all before any production can start.

We wonder who they'll cast!

Plus with Depp behind the production wheel... we know it's going to be a special movie.

We're ready for more news about it! Ha!

Real Housewives Cattiness! Taylor Calls Brandi Out For Slashing Eddie Cibrian’s Tires!!!

Me-Oww!! Part Two of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion delivered!!

Taylor Armstrong scratched real deep!! real deep!!

The claws came out when Brandi Glanville began explaining why she had a problem with Taylor at first to Andy Cohen.

She claimed that Russell Armstrong had gone to her and told her it was actually Taylor who forced him to threaten Camille Grammer via email.

So of course Taylor immediately took it as a personal assault on her rather than a simple telling of events (it kind of was a backhanded one, sure). And the venom spewed from there!!

It went down a little something like this:

Brandi: I'm just telling you what Russell told me.

Taylor: Russell is a master manipulator. Do you want to see the people suing me right now for all his manipulation?

Lisa: (coming to Brandi's defense) She's only explaining what Russell told her.

Taylor. I understand that, but I mean Eddie Cibrian said you slit his tires, is that true?

Brandi: Yeah!

Taylor: Oooh... (realizing it was true and not a male manipulation)

Brandi: I own them too. I just took the tires and I put the knife into his motorcycles, and then (Read more...)

Lenny Kravitz Talks His Role In The Hunger Games!

This is one of our favorite characters from the series, and we're SO excited that such a legend in his own right is taking on the role in the film!

Lenny Kravitz recently opened up about taking on the role of Cinna, the stylist and quiet mentor of Jennifer Lawrence's character in the adaptation of The Hunger Games, and explains that he was immediately drawn to the role after reading the script for the film, directed by Gary Ross!

He explains:

"I thought it was really good storytelling. I'm very much into stories. The character was interesting. I like [director Gary Ross's] previous work. And I said, 'Yeah, let's go,' [Cinna]'s very streamlined, he's very quiet. He knows what he's doing. He's confident. He's got a big heart. I just liked the way he moved – very smooth."

Well, we're happy to hear he has such a grasp on the character, and we cannot WAIT to see him - and the rest of this immensely talented cast - in action when the flick is released!

Now is it March yet?!

Ben Stiller To Produce, Direct, And Star In New HBO Show!

Published on January 25, 2012 By

Perez Hilton

If you're going to stack the odds in your favor to make sure your show will be incredible, you will follow these steps:

You will get Ben Stiller to produce, direct, and star in it.

You will get Alan Alda to co-star, because he is a legend.

And you will get Jonathan Safran Foer to write it.

If you don't know who JSF is, he wrote the books that Everything is Illuminated and Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close are based on!

The comedy pilot is called All Talk, and if all those pieces fall into place, it makes us very very excited to see it! There isn't even much about the plot yet, but it's described as a,“politically, religiously, culturally, intellectually, and sexually irreverent” look at a Jewish family in Washington DC, and Alda/Stiller would play Father/Son.

Plus Alda hasn't been on a series since M*A*S*H, and let's be honest: that was one of the greatest shows of all time. It would be amazing to see him get back in the action!

Doesn't this sound like a dream to U??

Daniel Radcliffe Made A Schoolgirl Faint

Published on January 21, 2012 By

Perez Hilton

It may seem like a joke or a metaphor for a stars power but Harry Potter Daniel Radcliffe literally made a Japanese schoolgirl faint, with nothing but his awesomeness.

Harry Potter has some huge fans in Japan and Daniel said he had a pretty interesting experience when he went to meet them.

He said:

"They love Potter in Japan. I had my truest Beatle-mania type experience once when I was over there when I was walking through a school corridor

I was visiting a Japanese school for a publicity thing and I brushed a young girl as I was walking past her and I said, 'Oh, I'm so sorry,' And she fainted."

Ha! That's so funny.

He is also very appreciative of his fame because he knows it can be fleeting.

He said:

"I had brushed her and spoken to her and it was too much and she fainted.

And you know, you've got to enjoy that stuff because that doesn't last forever. When you have a moment like that you kind of have to take in how cool it is."

That's pretty impressive. What power he has! And he did it all without a wand!

LOLz!

Frank Darabont Talks New Show And Leaving The Walking Dead

Published on January 21, 2012 By

Perez Hilton

Do tell, Frank!

During a recent interview, Frank Darabont opened up about leaving AMC's The Walking Dead. He also spoke about his upcoming TNT adaptation of the video game book L.A. Noir!

Here's what Frank had to say about leaving Walking Dead:

"It was, for the sake of my cast and my crew, a tremendously regretful thing to face, to have to leave. But I was really given no choice. I don't understand the thinking behind, 'Oh, this is the most successful show in the history of basic cable. Let's gut the budgets now.' I never did understand that and I think they got tired of hearing me complain about it."

"It's a little more complicated than that, but that's as far as I want to go with it because otherwise it's just provoking more controversy and that's not really of interest to me. I just want to keep my head down and do my job and be allowed to do my job, that's key, and continue to, hopefully, enjoy it and do good work."

And here's Frank on his adaptation of L.A. Noir:

"...The very first character I came up with, an invention of mine, (Read more...)
