Kings Of Leon deny Caleb Followill firing

Despite the upset of the aborted concert in Dallas, Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill has dismissed reports claiming his brother, Caleb Followill was fired from the band.

The hugely successful group were forced to scrap their US tour last month after Caleb complained of problems on-stage in Dallas. He was later ordered by doctors to rest his voice for a month but the sudden cancellation sparked rumors of a split with his band-mates.

Unconfirmed reports in a minor tabloid claimed Kings’ other members had “started to resent Caleb’s antics as he was late to rehearsals, neglectful of band meetings and displaying diva traits” and this had apparently caused his removal.

But Nathan has dismissed the news, showing sharp humor on his Twitter account;

“Breaking News: Kings Of Leon has kicked Caleb out and Jared and Matt will be taking over lead vocals. Where do people come up with this s**t? Hilarious!”

While such reports may be false the tour’s cancellation caused the band a lot of pain and bad press. After Caleb was deemed too ill to tour by his doctors the sudden end of the tour is also set to cost their insurers around $15 million.

Kim Kardashian mom, Kris Jenner sued over facelift

When Kim Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner underwent cosmetic surgery in June everyone was delighted. But she is now facing a lawsuit from a cosmetics firm claiming severe breach of contract.

The firm in question, BP Cosmetics filed the lawsuit early this week claiming 55-year old Kris is in breach of a contract she signed in March to endorse BP’s line of anti-aging skin-care products, because since the signing she has publicly admitted getting a facelift.

They say this behavior violated a clause in the agreement which required her not to harm the firm’s reputation, or that of the product she was paid to endorse – an eye-care line called ‘Beautiful Eyes in a Bag.’

Sources close to the Kardashian family say Kris is adamant the lawsuit is baseless as the product is designed for use around the eyes and her eyes were not touched during the surgery. It just firmed up some loose skin round her neck.

The two sides signed the agreement in March and it was to be in force for one year, with the firm retaining the option to then renew or conclude it.

Demi Lovato says meltdown not Joe Jonas’ fault

If you followed Demi Lovato’s career last Summer it had more low points than a dachshund. She broke up with Joe Jonas, developed eating disorders, was suspected of cutting herself and finally punched an assistant. But now she says that’s all over.

“I was completely out of line all Summer,” she now admits. “Just the worst attitude – totally ungrateful.”

When she quit the tour it started rumors her apparent breakdown was due to splitting from Joe when he began dating Twilight star, Ashley Greene. But Demi denies this.

“I wouldn’t credit my meltdown to a guy,” she explains. “There was so much other stuff in my life.”

And that all came to a head in December during a flight to Peru in which the 19-year allegedly punched backup dancer Alex Welch in the face. So what set her off?

“I just felt like she betrayed me,” Demi explains coldly. “That’s the bottom line.”

Demi says her childhood was so depressing she began overeating when she was about eight. This caused her to be bullied all through her childhood for being fat, and that’s left a scar;

Charlie Sheen saves Brooke Mueller from ‘dangerous’ rehab

As you know, Charlie Sheen’s former wife, Brooke Mueller has been trying to to get down to Mexico to find a radical way to get clean. Well, after three tries she succeeded. But Charlie’s got a better idea.

The 33-year old failed actress tried to get to a controversial ‘extreme rehab’ clinic in Mexico for weeks, and finally made it. But Chuck says the center uses drugs like ‘Ibogaine’ that are not even licensed in the US and the treatment could kill her.

So he fetched her home on his private jet and the 33-year old patient is now at an unknown location, with a swarm of expert doctors – all paid for by Chuck.

And it’s not hard to see she needs help – Her first trip to Mexico ended because she got off the plane and the second attempt failed because she arrived for the flight with no passport.

“She was convinced that was a sign to not go,” says a source. “Brooke was aware Ibogaine is a very dangerous drug and could potentially do more harm than good.’

American Idol’s Fantasia Barrino unveils pregnancy [video]

Fantasia Barrino is one of the most popular singers ever to win ‘American Idol’ and she now has another reason to be happy – She’s pregnant.

The 27-year old North Carolina native did a concert in Jacksonville, Florida over the weekend and told the fans the good news;

“You’re the first persons I share this news with,” she said, beaming. “And I share this with you because I can relate to you. This child I’m carrying; God has given me this child. And I don’t have to hide it from none of y’all.”

She made no mention of who the father might be.

Sean Kingston, Nicki Minaj wow Britney Spears fans in duet

After a horrific jet-ski accident in June that nearly killed him Sean Kingston made a welcome return to the stage last night, wowing fans at Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale tour by dueting with Nicki Minaj.

The sell-out crowd at the American Airlines Center in Miami were thrilled by the pairing, but no one seemed more relieved and buzzed by their show than Sean.

“Just killed it on stage with the lovely @nickiminaj,” he told his Twitter fans. “Feels good to be back on stage! Don’t call it a comeback!”

But the accident clearly left more than physical scars;

“From every wound there is a scar, and ever scar tells a story. A story that says, I survived,” he added later.

As you’ll remember, Sean, 21, crashed into Palm Island Bridge in Miami on May 29 and doctors weren’t sure if he’d even walk again. But last night he was clearly back in top form. And he told fans via Twitter he has plans to be even better:

“I got a big surprise coming up for my fans real soon!’ he tweeted after the show.

Weston Cage arrested on new domestic violence charges

In a continuing saga that will become either a reality show or a premature death, Nicolas Cage’s son, Weston Cage was arrested at around 5am yesterday for domestic violence. For the second time in a month. And Police say this time he had cuts on his arms.

The troubled 20-year old actor was arrested at the home he shares with new wife, Nikki Williams. He was transported to the local P.D and held all day, only getting free after posting a $50,000 bond.

And sources at the LAPD say they found several cuts on his arms that appeared to be self-inflicted. He was taken to a local hospital where the wounds were treated and dressed.

Police are refusing to give details on the cause of this latest incident but it’s believed to have been yet another physical disagreement between Weston and Nikki. Over what, we don’t know. But her mom has some good news:

“Nikki is safe and away from him,” she told E.

‘Teen Mom’s Amber Portwood heads to rehab

In news that should surprise almost no-one, ‘Teen Mom’ star and reality train-wreck Amber Portwood has confirmed she’s heading to rehab.

“I’m going to rehab for anger control issues and depression,” Amber, 21, is quoted as saying. “I’m on medication at the moment to help me relax. I’m in a vulnerable state and I know people want a lot of answers.”

As you’ll recall Amber was briefly hospitalized on June 14 after an apparent suicide attempt. She was found almost unconscious with some sort of cord around her neck and later told paramedics she had also taken some kind of pills.

She was detained in hospital on a 72-hour psychiatric hold, then released. Now she plans to finally dispel the demons by spending some time in a California rehab, and the therapy is already in play;

“Before I go to California I’m pursuing help with a psychiatrist,” Amber explained. “But my daughter is keeping me strong.”

And Amber may not be alone – One of her co-stars, Jenelle Evans has also had some legal run-ins recently and has been an in-patient at a rehab in Malibu for several weeks.

Weston Cage’s assailant wins restraining order

Nicolas Cage’s son, Weston Cage has been in the news recently. For all the wrong reasons. And now the man who helped by beating him up, Kevin Villegas, has won a restraining order against Weston after claiming harassment.

As you’ll recall, Mr. Villegas, who was Weston’s personal trainer, was engaged in a fight with 20-year old Weston at the ‘Farmer’s Kitchen’ restaurant in Hollywood on June 9th, during which it’s alleged Weston was punched in the face. Thirteen times.

Cops were called and Weston left the scene on a gurney, en route to Cedars Sinai Hospital where he was given a mental evaluation.

Kevin then promptly filed a request for a restraining order against Weston [seen here with new wife, Nikki Williams,] saying the actor’s son was “mentally unstable” and claiming he received “threats of violence” aimed at both him and his family on the day of the fight.

Today an LA judge granted the order, which now requires Weston to remain at least 100-yards from both Villegas and his family at all times…Or else.

Jon Bon Jovi injured at Finland gig

Most rock band’s lead singers have a reputation for toughness but Jon Bon Jovi is raising the bar. Jon suffered a serious strain at a concert in Finland last night and still finished a three-hour show.

Playing to a sold-out crowd at the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki the 49-year old iconic rocker suffered a serious strain in what’s known as the ‘Medial Collateral Ligament’ at the core of the knee.

The injury apparently happened about an hour into their set, but despite what must have been serious pain and a torrential downpour Jon kept things rocking for another two hours before seeking help.

“Fans need not worry,” Matt Bongiovi, of the band’s fan club assured Us Magazine. “Jon is in good health and future shows will not be affected.”

Any injury to this particular ligament can be really painful and recovery can take over three months. Jon is now using crutches to help reduce the effects but the band already confirmed they’ll be headlining the ‘Hard Rock Calling’ event in London which starts in just five days.
