Mila Kunis defends Justin Timberlake, bitch-slaps reporter [video]

Rumors of a romance between ‘Friends with Benefits’ stars, Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake have been swirling for weeks but Mila’s recent performance at a press show for the movie has made some fans sure they smell smoke.

The press tour stopped in Moscow last week and Justin was busy fielding questions from reporters about life in general and his role in the film when one hack asked why JT was more focused on movies these days than his music.

For some reason – take a guess – this innocent inquiry made Mila see red and the Ukrainian-born star nearly severed the scribe’s head from his shoulders as she defended JT in word-perfect dialect;

“Why movies? Why not??” she snapped at the penman. “What kind of question is that? Why are you here?”

With such a rare blend of beauty and bravado you can see why Justin might be more than keen. And his mastery of a facial expression that so perfectly blends puppy-dog adoration and dumbfounded awe is beyond price.

Nick Lachey admits baby plans with Vanessa Minnillo

Since they tied the knot on July 15 both family and fans have been asking Vanessa Minnillo and ‘The Sing Off’ host Nick Lachey the same question – when do we see babies?

“I’m doing everything I can,” Lachey joked at reporters on a promotional tour for the show. “Trust me, it would make me happy. Family is very important. It’s very important to us. and I’m sure that will be around the corner.”

Asked how married life was suiting the pair the ex-boy band star sounded upbeat;

“It doesn’t 
feel any different, which I think is great,” he enthused. “Obviously we’re still in the honeymoon period. We’ve been together five years, so we were very happy in our relationship before the marriage.”

As you might have heard, Kim Kardashian is planning a small service soon. Does Nick have any advice?

“I think I can safely say I’m not the one to give anyone marital advice,” he confesses. “I’m sure Kim and Kris will be just fine. She’s got the whole reality thing figured out, so it should be seamless.”

Real Housewives’ Ramona Singer, Jill Zarin spar on ‘Today’ show [video]

The Real Housewives of New York may be on a break but the producers don’t seem to have picked up the memo. Kathy Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb had two stars, Ramona Singer and Jill Zarin on the Today show yesterday and it was nearly a French manicured fist fight.

In the past Jill has dropped hints about Ramona’s fondness for drinking, and Ramona’s clearly become tired of it.

“She keeps inferring I have a drinking problem,” Singer told the hosts. “You girls like to have a drink now and then, so do I.”

To even the score Ramona then said it was in fact Zarin who couldn’t put down a bottle. Jill flatly denied this and chastised Ramona for saying such a thing on live, national TV…and it just got better from there.

The conversation then skews as Ramona seized the chance of a national forum to showcase her views on Alcoholics Anonymous and domestic abuse, at which point Hoda decided to pull in the reins;

Kendra Wilkinson: Crystal Harris is ‘trash’ for Hefner remarks

Those with strong stomachs will recall Hugh Hefner’s been defending his prowess in the bedroom Olympics just recently, and he’s not pleased. Now former Playboy star, Kendra Wilkinson says Crystal Harris is ‘trash’ for
making the remarks.

“I thought she’d be classy about things after their split,” she tells reporters. “But it’s not classy how she’s opening her mouth the way she is.”

Pot? You have a call from the kettle on line four.

But the 26-year-old sex-tape siren wasn’t done; “She should have kept her mouth shut, been a bigger person and just walked away,” Kendra opined. “She looks like trash.”

The whole silicone-enhanced smackdown began on July 26 when 25-year old Crystal revealed to Howard Stern that Hef was rather less than a marathon man in the bedroom. Hef swiftly denied the reports so the babbling bunny took to her Twitter account to apologize…and get even more press.

Such transparent attempts to monetize the connection won Crystal almost universal derision, both from former friends and the media in general. So what does Kendra advise the two former lovers do now?

Kelsey Grammer mulls political office, eyes New York Governorship

New Yorkers love their town with a passion but today’s news might make some want to move – ‘Frasier’ star, Kelsey Grammer has political dreams and may run for the Governor’s office.

“I’ve had a great career and extraordinary opportunities,” says the 56-year old actor. “But I look at my political aspirations as the last piece of my life — where I hope to do something good for people and pay back a little.”

And he says he’s got the right skills – actors and politicians both need “a narcissistic personality” to have any chance of success.

“You certainly have to have a resilient ego,” he admits.

After starring in the Broadway revival of ‘La Cage Aux Folles’ back in February Kelsey’s next job is as Tom Kane, the fictional Mayor of Chicago in Starz’ new drama “Boss.” which opens this fall. And that’s what gave him the idea to do politics for real, so he says.

An indelible Republican, Kelsey believes in small taxes and small-government and is always willing to donate to and campaign for a favorite candidate – He endorsed Rudy Giuliani back in 2008 and did road trips with John McCain. And that’s not always easy;

Real Housewives’ Taylor Armstrong says domestic abuse caused divorce

Domestic abuse is a serious problem but Taylor Armstrong, who says she’s a victim herself, is proud to use her platform on ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ to help women fight back.

Taylor, 40, recently split from her husband after five years and they’ve filed for divorce. Now she says the breakup was caused by a long history of abuse at the hands of her spouse.

“I’m mad at myself for tolerating things I should not have,” she says. “I felt like I was dying inside.”

She claims Russell, 47, would grab her, push her around and even throw things at her during their frequent arguments.

Russell denies this.

“Did I push her? Yes, maybe things happened in the heat of the moment, but it was during a time that was not characteristic of who we were. This show has literally pushed us to the limit.”

Taylor, who calls herself “a child of domestic violence” and says one of her earliest experiences in life was being abused…But she won’t explain what that was. Her family saved her but she still claims it left ‘an emotional mark.’

George Lopez mulling run for Los Angeles Mayor

Apart from his TBS talk show, a role in the new movie ‘The Smurfs’ and planning an exit to Canada if Sarah Palin wins office, George Lopez has yet another plan for his life – he wants to be Mayor of Los Angeles.

“This is a great city, and it’s my city,” 50-year old Lopez told Piers Morgan. “I believe there are certain things that could be taken care of for which you don’t need a strong political background.”

One thing, he says, is the style of construction;

“Architecture downtown is beautiful and people live there, but they don’t have the pride in Los Angeles they did years ago.”

LA has faced hardship, but George has been there – He was born in Mission Hills, his dad left when he was two-months old, his mother left when he was ten and his maternal grandma did all the hard work. So this is not such a crazy idea.

“If I was a can of soup at the store I’d be in that basket at the end of the aisle that says, ’99 cents, everything in the can,” he admits. “That’s how I’d have considered myself.”

Real Housewives of New York dazzle in raucous reunion [video]

Drama doesn’t get much richer than with the Real Housewives of New York, and this preview of the season reunion is a perfect example. Andy Cohen has to play peacemaker but soon gets lost in a barely constrained cat fight between Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer.

All the ladies, Jill, Kelly, Alex, Sonja, Ramona, LuAnn and Cindy attended and were asked to review their past season. Fingers were pointed, tempers got frayed and Ramona and Sonja were at their most blunt.

One major thorn, as you’ll see, was Cindy’s poor grasp of etiquette – She took a call during breakfast at Sonja’s, and that didn’t sit well with the host. But Kelly soon comes to her aid:

“She’s a working woman with two kids. If I came to your house and I had a call, I would take it.”

Sonja then defends her position – and Alex, Ramona and even LuAnn take her side. This soon becomes one giant, perfectly manicured bun-fight with all seven ladies discussing the fine points at maximum volume:

Real Housewives’ Ramona Singer loves success, being a mom

From last night’s tense installment of the ‘Real Housewives of New York’ you might think Ramona Singer has life on a plate. And she does – but it wasn’t always like that.

The 54-year old was born in the Hamptons and now has a comfortable life with her jewelry designer husband, Mario and 16-year old daughter Avery. But memories of a stormy upbringing still haunt her;

“I’m a self-made woman,” she tells us. “I was a victim of abuse. I saw my mother get the crap beaten out of her – I’d have to call the police. My father had a drinking problem, and I was on my own from 16.”

And Ramona credits her mother for the way she is now:

“My mother said ‘Don’t end up like me. I don’t have a college education, I have four kids. Please don’t make the same mistake. Have a career, and make sure you’re always making your own money, because that will give you strength – and they’ll respect you more.’”

And that’s how Ramona got into fashion; She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology and got a job as a buyer for Macy’s, then segued into wholesaling Calvin Klein. (Read more...)
