Well, at least Charlie Sheen is NOT the focus of this drama...for once!
Joe Roth, the producer behind movie-turned-sitcom Anger Management, is being sued by producer Jason Shuman for $50 million (!!!), because Shuman claims it was HIS idea to transfer the mediocre film over to boob-tube territory.
Anger Management stars the notorious Charlie Sheen - the embodiment of someone who needs therapeutic assistance with their anger - and has rated surprisingly high among test audiences, so it will LIKELY make lots o’ cash.
Roth is heading the show AND was responsible for bringing Charlie in on the project - but Mr. Shu (HAH) alleges that he and Roth had made a deal so that Shu would get a major bite of the profits - but that Roth is now reneging on his promise...
Aw, you poor producers! It’s a tough life, huh??

This time last year, most of the world probably thought the next hit show they would see Charlie Sheen on was Celebrity Rehab, but it sounds like his next hit will be the upcoming FX sitcom Anger Management.
Sources are reporting that the pilot is testing overwhelmingly positive and it's not just the show audiences are responding to -- it's the MaSheen's presence!
Not only did 80% of the men and women attending the screening admit that they loved the actor's portrayal of an unorthodox therapist, but they are rooting for him to make a career comeback!
We're not shocked because who doesn't love an unlikely comeback in Tinseltown? We have a feeling America can't help their curiosity and will be tuning in by the millions to watch the premiere of Anger Management on June 28th.
If the show is as good as test audiences indicate, then it will probably become must-see TV because Sheen was ranked as the sixth most popular television actor last year.

His career has taken many turns. So has his personal life.
But Charlie Sheen recently admitted in an interview with Matt Lauer that he isn't even sure who that reckless moron from the first half of 2011 was, and now he's asking TV viewers for another chance. A 24th, by the actor's count.
So Sheen jokes - it's not really a joke, is it? - in the following trailer, which promotes the June 28 premiere of his upcoming FX comedy, Anger Management.
The star anchors the sitcom as an athlete-turned-therapist. Will you give Sheen the opportunity he so desires? Watch the latest promo now and then decide:
Ahhhh, it's the age old question, isn't it??
"What would Kathy Bates look like if she played Charlie Sheen?"
Well, now that question is ANSWERED! HA!
Kathy Bates is playing the ghost of Charlie on Two And A Half Men -- and this is the first official photo -- cigar, bowling shirt, and all!
The episode airs on April 30th, and deals with Alan suffering a minor heart attack. This, of course, is the perfect set up to have Bates play Charlie's ghost.
Here's what Chuck Lorre had to say:
"We knew we wanted Charlie's spirit to visit with Alan while he was sedated in the hospital. The question was how. When Kathy's name was first floated as 'his incarnation' we all just started laughing and decided to reach out to her. We were also determined to stay true to the character of Charlie Harper, and that was a promise I made to Kathy when we first talked. Thankfully, Kathy immediately saw the twisted humor of it all and signed on."
Apparently she even studied old episodes to nail Charlie Sheen's mannerisms and cadence!
Lorre continued:
"I think everyone on the show would say the end result was one (Read more...)

Guess it was a horrible Monday for most people, because it seems like everyone was in need of some guilty pleasure!
The CW had a fabulous night as far as ratings are concerned. 1.12 million tuned into Gossip Girl, bringing the show up 14 & 20% week-to-week. And get this!! That sweet Hart of Dixie made their best numbers since February 20 with 1.32 million!!
Unfortunately, not every network had the same kind of party... How I Met Your Mother and 2 Broke Girls both suffered season lows... ouch!
But Dancing With the Stars remains consistent with 16.34 million viewers... even though their target demo slid down 7% to an all-time performance show low.
And while Charlie Sheen is eager on Anger Management, Two and a Half Men made an okay comeback from last week, gaining 6% back.
As for Smash... they fell into a season low too with 5.96 million. Icky!!
Which of these shows were U watching last night???
These 5 stars have all decided that they probably won’t ever marry again after going through at least one other failed marriage in the past. Some simply don’t see the need to do the deed, while others find marriage restricting, such as Charlie Sheen, who believes marriage makes him freak out about the relationship. Others have simply been married too many times and don’t want to walk down the aisle again due to all the nasty divorces!
Charlie Sheen
Charlie says that marriage simply isn’t good for him, and he won’t tie the knot again for this reason: “A couple of things I don’t do well – marriage and drinking. So I’ve quit both… Why would I (get married again). That’s not to say I couldn’t have a substantial relationship one day, but to ordain it with a piece of paper just feels like it makes things worse, just for me personally. Because those relationships, I want to say they were pretty good before the marriage and then something happens…”
Raquel Welch
After four marriages, Raquel believes she needs her own freedom: “I’m just not suited for it any longer. I love men and I love their company, but I am too independent and self-motivated. I’m willing to date, but quite frankly, there is a diminishing group of eligible people at my age. I don’t mind the traditional roles of male and female but, as you can tell, I am a very strong-minded woman. I’m sure I would be a challenge for an awful lot of men. They wouldn’t want to deal with it or, if they would like to deal with it, maybe I’m just not that interested.”
Kristen Wiig
Kristen doesn’t believe marriage is important: “I probably won’t ever get married (again), it’s not something that I (Read more...)
A couple of weeks ago Charlie Sheen was in an ad for car company, Fiat, and they made fun of the concept of him being under house arrest. Now he has collaborated with Dutch beer company, Bavaria Beer, for its new ad campaign, and he is actually the perfect person for the role. The ad follows Charlie from the moment he walks out of rehab, and the concept is seriously funny, making a parody of Charlie’s messed up past. Check out the new ad….
I don’t want to give too much away so that you can watch the ad’s story, but I am liking Charlie poking fun at himself in these recent ad campaigns. He isn’t everyone’s favorite guy, but you have to give him credit for trying hard to resurrect his career. He is starring in the upcoming Anger Management series, and he is doing a whole lot of ads – maybe too many ads, but still..
Check out the ad below and have a bit of a laugh for your Monday morning. What do you think of how Charlie Sheen is capitalizing on his troubled past?
