Check out the promo, if you haven’t already seen it. Are you expecting a big bang for the series finale? How do you think it is going to end?

These ladies are going to be missed I think. The show has, of course, had it’s up and downs, but on the whole it has been an amazing run. The scandal, the drama, the ridiculousness, and of course the tears – I know I for one am going to be sad watching the finale on Sunday. Series’ finales are always poignant for me, because they conjure up the memories of watching those beginning episodes. This show does just that for me. Where were you eight years ago when you started watching the then new show about Wisteria Lane? Ah, yes, it gets me all emotional.

Check out the promo, it doesn’t give too much away at all… what are you expecting and hoping for in this Sunday’s BIG finale!?

That was fast!

Desperate Housewives finished shooting its final episode just last week, and Teri Hatcher has already landed a new gig.

The actress has signed up for a recurring role on ABC Family's Jane By Design. Teri will be playing Jane's momma, as well as step behind the lens to direct an episode!

Hatcher is SUPER excited about her directorial debut. In a statement she gushed:

"I’m thrilled for the opportunity to direct. So many of the crew and cast of Desperate Housewives have been encouraging me to do this for a long time, from Vanessa Williams, James Denton, to the talented camera crew department and producers. Now that I have time, I’m excited to whole heartedly conquer new ventures.”

After spending foreeeever on the same show, it's gonna be really nice to "conquer" something totally new.

Teri's four-episode story arc will start this summer.

Congrats on the gig, girl!

The sun has set one last time on the ladies of Wisteria Lane!

During yesterday’s final Desperate Housewives shoot, those desperate, conniving, loving, cray cray women (well, the actors who play those women), tweeted their emotional, last goodbyes to their home for the past eight years.

Eva Longoria took her followers on a personal tour during her last day, tweeting and posting pics of her cast & crew members. Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross followed suit with some sad-face tweets of their own:

Eva Longoria: That's a wrap! End of an era!

Bye bye trailer! All cleared out and empty! Ready for another actor to move in!

Me and the beautiful Marcia Cross! Crying our eyes out!

Me and @FelicityHuffman holding each other so tight! She kept me standing for the last 8 years! I love u Flicka!

Felicity Huffman: Off to my last day on @DesperateABC. Hubbie wrote a sign, just like we do with our kids on last days of school.

Marcia Cross: I think more than anything, it is the moments of kindness during these last eight years that I will cherish the most....

Sniff Sniff!

WE are getting a little verklempt! Please, talk amongst yourselves... (Read more...)

The Desperate Housewives Tweet Their Sad Faces On Last Day Of Shooting

They're so fabulous... even when they're crying!

Thursday is the last day on set for the Desperate Housewives. And some of them have to just get their depression out via mini blog.

So thank goodness for Twitter, LOLz!

Mourning their last time on Wisteria Lane, the gals tweet:

Eva Longoria: Today is the day, the end has finally arrived... I will be crying all day! #LastDayOnSet

Marcia Cross: cannot believe this is the last time i will go to bed and wake to work on Desperate Housewives...last day tomorrow. xo

Brenda Strong: This is where it all began 8 years ago! Last day on Wisteria Lane and Marc Cherry is still hard at work!

Aww... so sad... but just think ladies!! EIGHT seasons is one helluva accomplishment!!

And now you can get a nice break... OR think about things like new series and movies!! Keep that work ethic goin!!

As for our Perezcious readers, U better get UR butts to Universal Studios (El Lay) so U can see Wisteria Lane before they turn it into something else!!

Eva Longoria Blames Marc Cherry For No Housewives Movie

Published on April 25, 2012 By

Well that didn’t take long!

The finale hasn’t aired yet but the SEXY Eva Longoria is already rejecting the notion of a Desperate Housewives transition to the big screen.

Eva broke the truth bluntly to the press recently, saying:

“We won’t do a movie.”

After an affair, miscarriage, divorce, thwarted rape attempt, and EVEN a fat suit, Eva insists that her television alter-ego Gabrielle Solis has simply ran her arc:

“Marc Cherry, our creator, has said that because we have done over 200 episodes. The difference with Sex and the City is that they only did 13 episodes a year and they were only on six years so they didn’t ever really fully explore those characters so you are able to do a movie.”

Marc Cherry has his own beef with Sex and the City but right now he is probably more concerned with the impending Nicollette Sheridan wrongful termination retrial!

Hmmmmm.

Does Eva Eduardo Cruise's new cuddle-buddy have point?

Has ABC'S smash-hit jumped the shark?

They've done it before, the whole FF til we get to more drama thing, but we weren't expecting the Desperate Housewives to turn Decrepit!!

Felicity Huffman was spotted filming an upcoming episode of the series as she got hit in the face with a ball!! But don't worry, that was totally scripted.

But are those kids supposed to be her grandchillins??? Or has all the stress finally gotten to Lynette???
