Well, this must be a HUGE relief to her!
Russell Brand's lawyer officially filed the final papers for his divorce from Katy Perry yesterday, and although the pair did not have a pre-nup in place - which means that he could make off with $20 million of her money if he exercised his community property rights - the comedian apparently will NOT be taking any of it!
A source explains:
"This divorce is as amicable as it gets, and Russell was a mensch (Yiddish for a good person)."
Phew!
We're sure this whole process has been difficult enough for them both, so we're glad that they're choosing to take the high road and just move forward with as few more complications as possible!
Stay strong, you two!

You'll get nothing and like it! That's how Jennifer Zulker claims she's being treated like!
The estranged wife of CSI creator Anthony Zulker claims that she doesn't receive any spousal or child's support from Anthony.
Jennifer is demanding her future ex to pay $1 million to her lawyers and accountants and an additional $54K a MONTH for support.
She claims she spends nearly triple that (mostly on herself) already. Jennifer also claims that Anthony makes $1.6 million a year on the CSI franchise alone, with $25K per episode as well as getting paid for other projects.
However, her court docs admit that the children spend 40% of their time with their dad.
Sources also say that it's actually more than that too.
Sounds like another gold digger trying to steal some cash.
We knew Charlie Sheen really wanted to get Selma Blair for his new show, and now we're hearing that he got her...
... AND Shawnee Smith!!
They'll be playing ex-wife and therapist, respectively. We couldn't think of anybody better for the roles!
Shooting starts in March, so we'll get to see Anger Management debut in June. We're just wondering if he'll be able to keep it together. He said:
“At this stage of the game, to deliver a turd? It’s not going to happen. It’s going to be an absolute f---in' rocket ship to the moon.”
We guess what we're trying to say is that anything's possible at this point, because that quote is classic Sheen, but the fact that he was able to keep quiet on the potential stars for as long as he did when they asked him to shows us he trying!
Here's the breakdown for Smith's character:
Smith will play Charlie’s ex-wife Jennifer, a role billed as a sexy woman who doesn’t exactly have it together. Married young, she never found an identity outside of Charlie. They divorced after he spent years cheating on her, but they remain close and are raising their teen daughter (Read more...)
We give her a lot of credit for having such a mature view on all of this!
It couldn't have been easy!
Olivia Wilde has opened up about her divorce from Tao Ruspoli, whom the 27-year-old married when she was just 18, and reveals that after everything was finalized, it took her a while to feel better - but in the end, it made her a better actress!
She explains:
"When you go through a breakup, you lose faith for a while. It makes you feel like such a failure, but I think this whole traumatic year has made me a better actor. And the good thing about getting divorced young – if there is a good thing – is that it makes you realize there's no schedule in life. It blasts you wide open and frees you to be honest with yourself. The danger [with marrying young] is that you evolve over the years and find yourself in a different place. Tao was, and is, totally involved with his work, and for me there's nothing sexier than a man who is busy and obsessed with what he's doing. I guess I saw that in my parents' marriage. They (Read more...)
Good for her! It's a much healthier alternative to lots of rebound flings and drugs/alcohol!
Slightly over a month ago, we were shocked to hear that Russell Brand and Katy Perry were filing for divorce.
Now, a source close to Katy is saying that she's been coping with life after Russell by getting lots of therapy!
Here's what the source had to say about it:
"Katy has always believed in therapy. She has always been pretty good about going to a therapist and she's still going now. When she’s on tour she does phone sessions and is also leaning on her friends, like Rihanna."
We're glad to hear this! We think she's definitely making a smart move by seeking help, and we're sure that she'll eventually recover and re-enter the dating world (when the time is right).
What do U think? Do U support Katy's decision to find solace in therapy???

It's Madge's turn!
Back in November, Guy Ritchie opened up about his marriage to Madonna, and he had overall positive things to say about it..although he DID compare married life with her to a "soap opera."
Now, Madonna has decided to speak up about being married to Guy. Here's what she had to say about it:
"Because when you start off, everything’s great and lovely, and the person you’ve married is flawless, and you’re flawless."
"Then time goes by, and you share a life, you have children, and there are cracks in the veneer. It’s not as romantic as it used to be. You think, 'this isn’t what I thought it was going to be,' and 'how much am I willing to sacrifice?'"
Thanks for sharing, Madge! We definitely agree that keeping the romance going is crucial, even after kids are born! And if that's not happening, then yeah - it's important to reassess the relationship.
What do U think? Did Madonna and Guy split up because the romance disappeared???

Well shiz!! We would hope not!!
We're actually kind of shocked Matt Lauer even asked about another marriage, LOL!!
But we guess her answer did give more insight into her personal feelings -- for example, she HAS learned some lessons in love!
When J.Lo was asked if she could see herself walking down the aisle again, she said:
I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. We'll see. I mean, I don't know. It's not time to think about that yet. It's still fresh.
So there ya have it!!
Sorry Casper, but it's gonna be a while before you get to put a ring on it!!

J Lo is clamming up about her divorce for good!
When the artist formely known as Jennifer Lopez split from her hubby Marc Anthony, she interviewed with Vanity Fair a month later.
She said the following in the interview:
Sometimes we don't realise that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself - if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me. I love myself enough to walk away from that now
And now, she's says she's done with that kind of talk.
The reasoning, she states, is that they want to keep their personal matters private for their kids' sake.
She spoke on the Today on the matter:
Everything I wanted to say about the divorce I said in that article. And Marc and I agreed that we're not gonna talk about it publicly again because it really is our personal lives. We have children and it's something that we just have to respect and keep sacred.
It's not the easiest thing in the world (Read more...)
