Looks like this season could be the last for Celebrity Rehab.
The sixth season of the VH1 show is currently airing, with the likes of Michael Lohan, Amy Fisher, and Bai Ling seeking help from the best.
But the doctor who makes it all happen is pulling the plug.
A source says: "The decision was made to put the show on hiatus because Dr. Drew Pinsky is just too busy to continue to do the show."
"Dr. Drew can be seen nightly on HLN's Dr. Drew Show, and this fall, has another project he is going to be involved with, Life Changers."
"In addition to being emotionally grueling, the amount of time Dr. Drew has to commit to treating celebrities is a tremendous amount."
Drew would "absolutely love to revisit doing the show again in the future when he has the time. Dr. Drew really enjoyed doing the show."
Very sad. We just hope Rachel Uchitel can find someone else to treat her "love addiction" now. That's got to be such a brutal affliction.
Radar Online exclusively reported today that Grease star Jeff Conaway‘s family has decided to take him off life support. A source tells Radar that once the breathing tube is removed, doctors will not attempt to revive Conaway. “Doctors advised the family that Jeff has had no brain function since he was brought into the hospital,” Read More ...
Earlier this week, Michaele Salahi was kicked off Celebrity Rehab because she lacked the one thing people entering rehab typically possess - addiction.
No clue why the show didn't establish this ahead of time, but Michaele's husband, Tareq Salahi is threatening to sue, and that's not even the half of it.
According to her husband Tareq, Michaele only agreed to do Celebrity Rehab to get help from Dr. Drew for a pre-existing condition: Multiple Sclerosis.
"She was leaning on Dr. Drew who is a respected doctor to get her through some of the issues after the White House," says fellow party crasher Tareq.
He adds that Michaele Salahi takes her MS condition "very seriously" and that it was the show that wanted her to pretend to be something she wasn’t.
Tareq says he now has plans of "exposing" Dr. Drew and the show.
"My wife takes her health very seriously, she has a real diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. We can show you emails about what they wanted her to pretend to be, therefore, but that's going to come out later on with one of the major networks."
As for Michael Lohan's role in all this?

Can a peace officer hold the power that is Charlie "Tiger Blood" Sheen?
Dr. Drew Pinsky thinks they should at least try!
So, apparently Dr. Drew has been watching the episodes of Sheen's Korner, and went on to recommend what's called a "5150."
This is what that means:
Section 5150 of the California Welfare and Institutions Code states that if someone is proven to be a danger to themselves or others, a peace officer can take that person into custody against their will for 72-hour treatment and evaluation.
Sounds like Dr. Drew doesn't want to take ANY chances with Sheen losing it in a harmful way.
We DEF don't want that to happen either. Perhaps that wouldn't be such a bad course of action?
What do U think??

Okay, so there's no word on whether or not the Winner himself will take part in the show.
That isn't stopping VH1.
They're doing an hour long special with Dr. Drew called Charlie Sheen: Winning… or Losing It? with Dr. Drew.
On the show, Dr. Drew will inspect and analyze The Sheen Machine's behavior over the past few weeks, and try to figure out "what could be wrong with him."
Should be inneresting to watch, though, it would be a WHOLE lot better if Sheenie was there in person!
Will U watch Winning… or Losing It? ?

Charlie Sheen has had his poor stamina and unusual fantasies exposed to the world this week. But that's not the most harrowing aspect of the actor's most recent ordeal:
We now need to hear Dr. Drew Pinsky weigh in on the rehabbing star.
"Let's all be hopeful he's going in the right direction," the attention-starved doc told People. "Charlie's been in recovery before. He's actually been an active recovering person, so he knows what it is."
He also knows how to scoff, loudly and dangerously, at the concept.
Dr. Drew says people in Sheen's situation "need a long term of structure for them to capitulate and take direction." Most importantly, the Celebrity Rehab host says? The Two and a Half Men star can't rush himself.
"It's like any form of rehabilitation. Whether you are rehabilitating from an ankle injury or pneumonia, you've got to take the time and you've got to get out of the environments that impact adversely on the recovery process – whether it's a limb, an organ or the brain."
You won't believe this, but Dr. Drew Pinsky has an opinion on the Miley Cyrus salvia controversy.
Asked by Access Hollywood about the video of that singer smoking a hallucinogenic herb at her 18th birthday party, Dr. Drew cited the divorce of Miley's parents.
“Her family’s in trouble, so it’s not unusual to see depression manifesting as various kinds of acting out behaviors. Adolescents don’t get depressed the way adults do. They don’t get sad and cry and withdraw. They often act out and become irritable... she seems to be suffering.”
Dr. Drew thinks Miley Cyrus should seek help. Preferably on VH1, we'd imagine, in front of a camera and a certain exploitive therapist.
What advice does the Celebrity Rehab host have for Miley?
“If I had a child that was doing that or if I was advising a parent, I would say get professional help immediately,” he said. “This is a child who is in trouble and who is suffering and this is her way of trying to manage that. Get professional help.”
So far, we've only heard one thing from Billy Ray Cyrus on the incident. He's very sad about it.

We're sure he's the last person she wants to hear this from, but it was still nice of him to praise her 'progress!'
Dr. Drew apparently thinks that after all of the Lindsanity, the reformed hard-pAArtying wacktress is finally on the proper road to recovery!
He says:
"Yes, I think she has finally made the right turn. I am very hopeful that she gets a lot of help and a lot of work. You look at the behaviour of young Hollywood and start seeing judgment and disdain and that's not a very healthy outlook… Focus on your own kids and talk to them about what they are watching out there."
We certainly hope he's right!
We don't know how much more La Loca in trainwreck mode our hearts and our patience can handle!
What do U think?? Is LiLo on the right track??

Rachel has no shame!
Rumors are flying that Rachel Uchitel joined the cast of Celebrity Rehab to get closer to her crush Dr. Drew!!
She initially turned down the offer, but Dr. Drew offered to have a personal sit-down with the homewrecker to see if she'd change her mind — and she agreed because she has the hots for him!
That's some dangerous territory! Mrs. Pinsky better keep an eye out!

And it's going to be pretty good!
This year's has-beens enrolling in VH1's Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew Pinsky include Jason Wahler, Janice Dickinson, Jeremy London, Rachel Uchitel, Leif Garrett, Jason "Gummi Bear" Davis and Frankie Lons, singer Keyshia Cole's mother.
The fourth season is set to air later this year.
We can't wait to see what kind of shenanigans Janice will get up to!
