Okay, so remember that Chernobyl support group that's offended by Oren Peli's new horror movie Chernobyl Diaries?
Well it turns out that they haven't even seen the film... and Oren is asserting that another support group has seen it and has praised them for how they've handled the disaster in the film!
Oren spoke about the utmost respect he has for the 400k victims, saying that Chernobyl is merely the backdrop to the horror story:
"As for the claim that our film exploits anyone -- we could not disagree more vigorously. First of all, the criticism and accusations are coming from a group that has not seen the film, whereas conversely the praise for it is coming from those who have indeed seen it. The film, though fictional, may in fact shine a light on a tragedy too many have forgotten."
Apparently the group, called Chabad's Children of Chernobyl, actually wrote him a letter filled with "admiration" and "kudos" for the flick!
Plus Oren straight up says the villains of the movie are not even mutated "victims" of the Chernobyl disaster at all!

Reportly, the actor had been expressed interest and approached Guillermo del Toro about his upcoming 3D film, which will take on the story of everyone’s favorite wooden puppet!
The film was recently announced at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this week and will consist of puppets and stop-motion animation.
Other actors producer/director Del Toro has been eyeing up to lend their voices for the flick? Tom Waits and Christopher Walken!
Definitely two distinct voices!
Pinocchio is currently in pre-production, with a release date set for sometime in 2014!!

With execs hoping for $35-40 million, the action movie only caught $9.1 million Friday... meaning an estimated $25 mil weekend!! That's lower than John Carter... oOouch!!
Now, the international profits do read $220 million but with domestic numbers that bad, it's gonna be REALLY hard to swim their way to profitable shores! We mean, the film cost $209 mil to make and that doesn't even include the extravagant marketing.

Ryan Seacrest out...Josh Duhamel in?
That’s what it’s sounding like for who’ll be taking up the role of Julianne Hough’s leading man!
Well...on the silver screen, of course!
Reportedly, Ryan’s beau and Rock Of Ages star Julianne is currently in talks to play the lead role in a film based on the Nicholas Sparks novel, Safe Haven!!
The actress would be taking on the character Katie Feldman, a mysterious young woman who moves to small town in North Carolina, where the residents start becoming suspicious of her and her shady past!
This would definitely be an interesting role for the Footloose actress!
We reported back in March that Keira Knightley was in talks for the role, as well.
The flick is slated to premiere in theaters February 8, 2013!

Jackie Chan is quitting action movies??
That'd be like Russell Brand quitting comedies!
After promoting his 100th movie, Chinese Zodiac, Jackie told reporters:
"This will be my last action movie. I tell you, I am not young any more ... I am really, really tired."
Awww! That's so sad!
He continued:
"I don't just want to be an action star ... I want to be a true actor. I want to be an Asian Robert De Niro. I want to get rid of my image. So, for the last ten years I've done other films like 'The Karate Kid' where I'd rather play an old man. I want the audience to know I'm not just about fighting or comedy, also I can act."
We guess he's gotten tired of kicking his own butt (as well as the butts of millions of henchmen) and he wants to show people his real talent.
We'll be sad to see you leave the business of butt kicking but we support you in following your happiness!
