Demi Lovato Gets Mad At God On Twitter

Published on January 6, 2012 By

Oh Demi Lovato!

We love her but we can't help feeling like the famous pop star is being a tad over dramatic!

Life has gotten "so hard" for the pop star that she is pissed with the "dude" that gave it to her. She tweeted her frustrations with the man upstairs writing:

"Sometimes it seems like God just keeps throwing crap my way and I get SO angry with him... But there's never a doubt in my mind He's gonna pull me through it all. I know you're there God. But umm... Really dude?"

Totally. We know there are tons of people that can relate to the way Demi feels. For example, starving children and 9-11 widows.

We're sure whatever has got Selena Gomez's BFF in the dumps, it's something she can't get over. Clearly Demi agrees.

She continued her God convo writing:

"He never fails to show me He's by my side though. Even in the tough times. I'm not very religious but I'm VERY spiritual and I DO believe in God. I'm not perfect or preaching! Just tweeting..."

The spiritual songstress ended with a quote from the book of Dory:

"Just keep swimming."

So wise.

Nancy Grace Focuses On Dr. Conrad Murray Guilty Verdict Instead Of Low Score After DWTS

After Monday night's episode of Dancing With The Stars, Nancy Grace was less concerned with achieving the lowest score of the night for her Instant Dance and more worried about Dr. Conrad Murray's guilty verdict.

Once she was done begging the judges to give her a break on the ballroom floor, the press backstage didn't need to beg the legal analyst to comment on the results of the Michael Jackson murder case.

While she's happy he'll be behind bars for his crime, she could only express her desire for a harsher punishment, saying:

"Well, once I found out it was a guilty verdict that's really all I needed to know. I only wish it had been murder one, because murder one deserves life behind bars, not four years."

She may not have been able to follow the trial as closely as she did Casey Anthony's, but the former prosecutor shared it never really left her mind, explaining:

"I've been talking about Michael Jackson since he was charged with child molestation. I made it very clear what I thought after I read the autopsy report and all the state's and defense's evidence. So yes, of course, I would (Read more...)

Sounds like DMX finally got sick of going to jail!

After his last stint behind bars, the rapper decided to fight his cocaine addiction.

And guess what! He won!

X says:

Everyone was taking advantage of me with my finances, trying to put me in the direction to fail. I have 10 kids. I have to drive them in the right direction, so I let the cocaine go. I am on a spiritual road to do right in my life. I am leaving out all negativity and going to stay on the right road to positive.

Well good for you, X! We just hope you never relapse! You can do it!

He's played the President. He's played God. He deserves some recognition.

Yesterday, Morgan Freeman was honored by the American Film Institute (AFI), who presented him with their Lifetime Achievement Award.

Celebs who attended the event to celebrate Freeman's achievement include Clint Eastwood, Helen Mirren, Tim Robbins, and Forest Whitaker.

Here's what Clint Eastwood had to say about Morgan, whom he referred to as "the greatest actor":

"He is the most effortless person to be around and to act. I don't know if it's proper to love another man, but this is as close as I'm going to get to it."

And here's what Morgan had to say when presented with his award:

"This is easy to take but hard to believe. Where I come from in Mississippi, they call this walking in high cotton. For me, heaven has always been about acting in the movies. I'm proud to be an actor, although for this one night, you've made me feel like a star."

He may not be a role model when it comes to his personal life, but there's no denying the fact that Morgan's a talented actor and was def worthy of receiving AFI's (Read more...)

Global Christian Ministry Admits They’re Losing Fight Against Same-Sex Marriage

global christian ministry admits losing fight against same sex marriage

We'll go ahead and think of this as a WIN!

During a recent interview, president Jim Daly of global Christian ministry Focus on the Family admitted that his side has "probably lost" the fight against same sex marriage:

"We're losing on that one, especially among the 20- and 30-somethings: 65 to 70 percent of them favor same-sex marriage. I don't know if that's going to change with a little more age—demographers would say probably not. We've probably lost that. I don't want to be extremist here, but I think we need to start calculating where we are in the culture."

"We've got to look at what God is doing in all of this…Have we done such a poor job with marriage, is He so upset with our mishandling of it in the Christian community, along with our lust of the flesh as a nation, that He is handing us over to this polygamy and same-sex situation in order to, perhaps, drive the Christian community, the remnant, into saying, 'OK, there's no no-fault divorce in our church?'"

And here's Jim Daly on gay activists' view of Christian marriage:

"I sat down with one. He said, 'You guys haven't done so well (Read more...)

Kirk Cameron Vs. Stephen Hawking

Belieber

Outspoken Christian Kirk Cameron is a little ticked off at unspoken genius Stephen Hawking who has said Heaven is merely a "fairy story for people afraid of the dark" in this recent interview.

Kirk recently fired back at the blasphemous comment (in Kirk's mind at least), saying:

"Professor Hawking is heralded as 'the genius of Britain,' yet he believes in the scientific impossibility that nothing created everything and that life sprang from non-life. Why should anyone believe Mr. Hawking's writings if he cannot provide evidence for his unscientific belief that out of nothing, everything came?"

If nothing else, we're kind of confused, but then again, we're not super geniuses and have never starred in Left Behind.

Kirk has also dragged John Lennon into the debate, saying:

"[Hawking] says he knows there is no Heaven. John Lennon wasn't sure. He said to pretend there's no Heaven. That's easy if you try. Then he said he hoped that someday we would join him."

We're not sure if John Lennon meant join him in Heaven, so much as join his point of view, which may lead to world peace, but Kirk's point is:

"Such wishful thinking reveals John and Stephen's religious beliefs, (Read more...)

God’s Wife Might Have Been Edited Out Of The Bible

Asherah Might Have Been Edited Out Of The Bible

Raise your hand if you knew that God might have had a "wife", and that she might have been edited out of the Bible!

It's true, some researchers and theologists believe that Asherah, a fertility goddess, may have been featured in early versions of the Bible and could have been God's wife.

A historian named Raphael Patai even brought up that ancient Israelites worshipped both Yahweh and Asherah back in 1967, so even though this idea is relatively new, it isn't that new!

Now, Francesca Stavrakopoulou, who might win the Hardest Name To Spell And Pronounce Ever Award, is now a senior lecturer in the department of Theology and Religion at the University of Exeter while dropping knowledge bombs on the theory!

Check it:

What remains of God's purported other half are clues in ancient texts, amulets and figurines unearthed primarily in an ancient Canaanite coastal city, now in modern-day Syria. Inscriptions on pottery found in the Sinai desert also show Yahweh and Asherah were worshipped as a pair, and a passage in the Book of Kings mentions the goddess as being housed in the temple of Yahweh.

Elton John Promotes Tolerance In Light Of Gay Suicides!

elton-john-expresses-his-dismay-with-homophobia-and-gay-bullying

He always seems to be right on the mark when he speaks about these matters!

Elton John has come forward to express his dismay and disappointment not only with the recent string of gay bullying in this country that have led to devastating suicides, but also with the hateful, homophobic and callous comments that are being written on internet message boards by anonymous posters regarding the tragedies!

He explains:

"People were saying gays should be beaten up, we're not part of God's universe. What kind of mentality is this? When I first came here, it was such a loving country. It's never been in a more horrible place. This is not the America I love. We've come so far, with a black president, it's mystifying that this can still be going on. Jesus Christ taught tolerance. That's the example we should follow. We should forgive, understand, be compassionate. We're not all the same. Thank God! It would be so boring."

He also uses that viewpoint as an explanation for agreeing to sing at conservative Rush Limbaugh's wedding this past summer:

"We talked a lot before I did it, and I was surprised how much I liked (him). If I (Read more...)

God Wants Michael Lohan To Open A Rehab Center

Oh, sure!

Michael Lohan wants to open his own rehab facility in California and he says it's going to be "faith-based" and his mission in life!

He explains:

"After seeing what my daughter, myself and other people I know have been through, it has led me to realize this is my calling and purpose in life…we are rehab that focuses on mind, body and soul. It is a spiritual retreat…The basis of the rehab will be that there is a God; that good conquers evil; that the best way to live is to treat others like you want to be treated; and treat your body like a temple.

I'm not going to close my doors on anyone. We may offer a scholarship [to those in need]. You don't have to be Lindsay Lohan or Nicole Richie or Robert Downey Jr. or a celebrity to get rehab….all I want to [do] is open this place and see my family, Dina and my children are in a good place. When that day comes, I am done, I am finished. All of the things that have happened to me in my life have led to this. I know this is (Read more...)
