In front of a house of God no less! For shame!
The big news out of Dallas this morning was the arrest of acclaimed country singer Randy Travis. Early this morning, the cops were called to a local Baptist church after someone spotted a suspicious vehicle. When the police arrived, they found Randy chugging down on a bottle of sacramental wine, drunk off his rocker.
Randy was hauled off to jail, but was booked, cited and released in the same span of time it probably took him to get hammered.
Wonder if he'll turn this bender into a Billboard chart-topper? Cowboys like to write songs about their embarrassing drunkscapes, right?
Rapper Machine Gun Kelly was a bit too rowdy on tour in Florida.
Now, he can add a new venue to his tour: Pinellas County Jail!
The rapper was arrested for disorderly conduct at 4:12 AM Monday morning. He was released a few hours later on $100 bond.
MGK tweeted the following on his ordeal:
Just spent my entire night in a f**king Florida jail...s**t escaladed way to quick last night, it always does with us though.
If you put Machine Gun in your name, you're inviting trouble to you!

Okay, so get this garbage. The man who admitted to the murder of Stephany Flores doesn't feel well in jail. Aww, poor him..
According to an inside source, Joran van der Sloot is appealing his sentence and hoping to be a free man on parole in five years.
Apparently the brat has been complaining about poor drinking water and food. Uhm, what did he expect?? Evian?? Give us a break!!
We've been following this since the Natalee Holloway mess -- back when he confessed to that murder on tape but later retracted it to right now that he's behind bars for another murder. And he doesn't seem to show any real remorse.
So we hope the judge sees through his pity party!! UGH!!!

And the bad-idea-of-the-week award goes to.....
To recap - the Doughtery Gang are a group of criminal siblings from Florida, consisting of 29-year-old Lee Grace Dougherty, 21-year-old Ryan Edward Dougherty, and 26-year-old half brother Dylan Dougherty Stanley.
Back in August, they went on a violent crime spree, and were finally caught after a 100 mph car chase in Colorado!
Now, we've learned that gangmember/sibling Dylan tried (and failed) to break out of jail, as described in a newly released prison document.
According to the doc, deputies found "a homemade knife and letter to the FBI in his cell." The letter read as follows:
"I have enjoyed staying here, so don't take any of this personal."
Ha! Apparently, the deputies also noticed that plumbing access had been "tampered with" in Dylan's cell, and that he had written another letter to his sister, which outlined his plan to "subdue the guards, steal their keys and escape with her."
Lee Grace goes on trial on Feb. 21 for attempted second-degree murder, assault, and other charges. Prosecutors in Florida are still deciding how to proceed with her brothers...although Dylan will face new counts of conspiracy to escape and possession of contraband (Read more...)
Oh great! Another story of a man assaulting his girlfriend... soo gross!
According to the police, Deen Castronovo allegedly assaulted his girlfriend last weekend in a fight that escalated a little too high!
The current touring drummer for Journey was booked for the alleged assault as well as coercion, criminal mischief, getting in the way of making a report, and being a harasser. Ick!
And get this!! Sources say his girlfriend even ran out of the house to call her dad, but Deen caught her and yanked the phone right out of her hand!! Boo!!!
Of course, he didn't stay at the jail house for too long. He posted his $50k bail and got the hell outta there!!
UGH!!! There are NO EXCUSES for violence, especially on a woman!!

We're bummed to report that J.Edgar/Social Network star Armie Hammer was arrested back in November for pot possession.
According to the recently surfaced police records, he was caught with marijuana in his car at a border patrol checkpoint in West Texas...by a drug sniffing dog!
The records show that he had the following in his possession:
-0.02 ounces of marijuana
-three medicinal marijuana cookies
-one brownie
After his arrest, Armie spent one day in jail, but then got out after paying a $1,000 bond.
Fortunately, the El Paso district attorney didn't prosecute him because he was carrying less than 4 ounces of marijuana. They COULD have pursued lesser charges, but it appears that they decided to give the actor a break.
Be careful out there, Armie! You've got quite the career ahead of URself, and we'd hate to see it tarnished with any more police trouble!

Richard Franco, the creep who was found scaling the wall around Halle Berry's house, has been sentenced to 386 days in jail, five years probation, and one year in counseling.
Not only that but Halle got the three year restraining order extended to a fat TEN years!! You go gurl.
Since he's already spent half his sentence behind bars awaiting his trial, he'll only be locked up for 193 more days. But still... better than nothin!!
When are these creeps gonna learn? Totes not okay to stalk a celebrity!!

At least they're putting their rectums to good use! Ha!
Earlier this week, South Korean customs officials made the announcement that they've arrested eight men who schemed to smuggle gold out of the country...in their rectums!
Apparently, the men were able to transform $260,000 worth of gold bars into "small beads" and they smuggled it all across the border TWICE in 2010, in an effort to avoid import taxes! Wow!
We're hearing that the men were caught by Japanese customs officials during their second job, but they were only given fines at the time.
Now, South Korean officials have gathered evidence and they've gotten the smugglers to admit to their crimes.
Let's just hope their rectums fare better in jail...
We continue to be disturbed by this story.
On Saturday, we were sad to report that a cruise ship carrying 4,000+ people ran aground off the coast of Italy. Following the evacuation, we heard that at least 50 people hadn't been accounted for, and that 3 people had been confirmed dead.
We had also heard that some passengers were accusing the crew of failing to give them instructions on how to evacuate the ship.
Then yesterday, we learned that the previously halted search had resumed AND we were hearing that "human error" was being cited as the cause for the tragic event.
Now, new details have been released about the "human error," and it appears that the Captain Francesco Schettino abandoned ship, even though an Italian Coast Guard official ordered him "at least 10 times" to stay on board.
The remiss captain is currently being held in jail and he faces charges including "manslaughter, shipwreck, and abandoning a ship when passengers were still on board."
The death toll has officially reached 11 people. So far.
Our thoughts continue to go out to the loved ones of the victims of this tragic event. Stay strong.

He was kind of busy ... in prison.
Yet another perfectly good reason to stay out of jail!
Spending nearly a year in jail really took a toll on T.I.'s life, both personally and professionally. We had no idea, but according to the rapper, offers to star in some pretty high profile movies came rolling in just about the time he was getting carted off in orange. So, he had to turn them all down.
But just wait till you hear the opportunities he missed out on! He says:
"I was supposed to be in the film Tower Heist with Ben Stiller. The Eddie Murphy movie. I was supposed to be in that. And I wasn't able, obviously, to be there. G.I. Joe II (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), they called me for that. World War Z with Brad Pitt. They called me for that. The Joel Silver movie (Bullet to the Head) - I would have been co-starring with Sylvester Stallone. They called me for that too."
Damn! That's got to hurt! You know what getting in good with both Eddie Murphy and Brad Pitt could do for a man's career? EVERYTHING!
