Sure, we miss Matt Damon... but they couldn't have picked a better replacement!!
Our love affair with Jeremy Renner and how awesome he is has been growing exponentially as time passes, so we're so glad to see him here in proper ass-kicking form for the new flick in the Bourne series: The Bourne Legacy!!
Check it out above and tell us that it doesn't look completely rad!
Plus as an added bonus we also get Edward Norton, Albert Finney, and Rachel Weisz!!

Seems pretty simple, right?
Check out the new teaser poster for the upcoming film The Bourne Legacy (above). We're surprised they're not showing off Jeremy Renner as the new Bourne character. But maybe that's to keep us in suspense. Who knows?
The movie also stars Edward Norton, Rachel Weisz, Oscar Isaac, Scott Glenn and Albert Finney and is set to hit theatres on August 3rd.
What do U think of the new Bourne poster??
Back in April of last year, we learned that Academy Award nominated actor Jeremy Renner (who can be seen in theaters right now in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol) has been cast as the lead in the upcoming sequel film The Bourne Legacy. As you may know, Legacy will pick up where the previous Bourne trilogy of films left off. Instead of Matt Damon playing the character, Renner will step into the new Bourne role. Click below to check out the first promo photo released of Jeremy Renner in The Bourne Legacy and get your first look at the new face of this new film franchise.

The movie studio is keeping the film’s plot under wraps (for now) but I would imagine the crux of the film’s storyline will have something to do with Renner becoming the new “Jason Bourne“, taking over where Matt Damon‘s character left off. The film is due out in theaters on August 3 and will also star Rachel Weiss and Edward Norton. While I’m not too excited about a new Bourne film franchise (mainly because I absolutely LOVED Matt Damon‘s work in the first 3 Bourne films), I (Read more...)

It could be the scene in the next action thriller, but sadly it is not. Action star Jeremy Renner was involved in a bar fight in Phuket, Thailand, and he and his friend were attacked and stabbed. Ow!
Jeremy was holidaying in the southern hemisphere sun, enjoying a few late night drinks at a bar when a friend of his, a manager from one of the nearby resorts, dropped his glass on the floor. This sparked a fight between him and the pub owners, who became violent and stabbed him in the stomach! Police had to be called and the next morning the staff at the pub were arrested with attempted murder. This is serious!
You’ve gotta know who Jeremy is by now unless you’ve been living under a rock? He is relatively new on the scene and first became known in 2009 for his role in The Hurt Locker. But then he earned an Oscar nomination last year for his work in The Town. From Indie child he moved quickly to the big stuff – Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, The Bourne Legacy and The Avengers. You might not have known who he was (Read more...)
We guess this is good training for his upcoming role in The Bourne Legacy...
Jeremy Renner was involved in a violent fight last night outside a bar in Phuket, Thailand, TMZ reports, one in which a participant gashed another with a rotor axe.
Local police says the melee started after a man in Renner's party, Vorasit Issara, dropped a glass on the floor. A group of workers - with whom Vorasit has been arguing - proceeded to attack Issara, Renner and their friends, with the former getting stabbed in the neck and the stomach with a knife.
All six men who initiated the attack were arrested and the actor escaped with minor injuries.

Celebs are NOT having good luck when visiting Asia these days...
According to Thailand's Phuket Gazette, Jeremy Renner got injured due to a brawl yesterday while visiting the Rachada Pub in Phuket Town.
We're hearing that Jeremy was with Vorasit "Pla Wan" Issara, who owns the exclusive Sir Panwa Resort on Phuket island.
Apparently, six staff members of the pub attacked Vorasit, leaving him with stab wounds to the stomach and neck.
Jeremy suffered "minor injuries" in the attack, but it sounds like he'll be just fine.
As for the six pub staff members, they're currently being charged with attempted murder for stabbing Vorasit...and they've all confessed to the attack.
We're glad to hear that Jeremy's all right, and we wish Vorasit a full and speedy recovery!
Stay safe!

Sounds to us like Matt's word vomit actually had quite a bit of meaning behind it!
To recap - last week, Matt Damon slammed Bourne writer Tony Gilroy, and referred to his Bourne Ultimatum script as "unreadable."
Fortunately, he did apologize, and then he opened up further about his plans to possibly return to the Bourne franchise one day!
Now, Damon has opened up further on why he said such negative things about Gilroy, and it sounds like he was set off when he saw that Bourne Legacy offices opened up right next to his Elysium set:
"[Those offices] opened up right outside my trailer. I was seeing this every day, and then I came back to New York and did this interview and kind of blurted it out…It was idiotic of me to say anything. At the end of the day, it's between me and Tony, and we'll figure it out or we won't."
Aside from that, it also sounds like there's been a larger long-term issue between Bourne writer Tony Gilroy and director Paul Greengrass....and clearly Damon is on Team Greengrass.
Let's just hope they're able to work everything out so that we can possibly see (Read more...)
