Newly Engaged Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie May Reunite On The Screen Again In ‘The Counselor’

Yesterday we heard the HUGE news that Brangelina are engaged to be married. Today we have learned that Brad and Ange are not only be getting married, but they may be starring on screen together again, going back to their roots. The story of Brangelina began on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith, and now they may be back on the screen together in Ridley Scott’s new movie, The Counselor alongside a potentially massive A-list cast.

The Counselor is based on the script from the award winning author Cormac McCarthy, who wrote the brilliant, No Country For Old Men. It tells the story of a lawyer who also happens to dabble in the underbelly world of drug dealing, but of course, this has pretty serious and in this case, disastrous, consequences. The actor playing the role of the two faced lawyer has already been decided. Michael Fassbender has signed onto this role, and now they are looking to fill out the rest of the cast. The Avengers Is Tracking To Be A MASSIVE Hit

Just in case nobody figured this out already, The Avengers is going to be a MASSIVE success for Marvel and Disney.

Insiders tracking the interest in the film are predicting a $100+ million weekend domestically when the ultimate superhero movie opens up on May 4. Not only do men want to see Jeremy Renner, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, and Samuel L. Jackson save the world from impending doom, but women and children do too!

If analysts predictions are accurate, the film may be Marvel's best opening ever and beat their current champion, Iron Man 2, which made $128 million during its first weekend.

The question is, can it beat the $169.1 million record set by Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 for a non-holiday 3-day opening?

We're not so sure about that, but are eager to find out!

‘The Avengers’ Premieres In Hollywood

We are still a few weeks away from the theatrical release of The Avengers but last night, here in SoCal, the cast of the superhero blockbuster film assembled at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood, CA for the “global premiere” of their film. Jeremy Renner, Javier Bardem And Natalie Portman In Talks To Do Ridley Scott’s ‘The Counselor’

Ridley Scott’s new film, The Counselor, is causing a stir about it’s casting. Some pretty amazing actors are in talks with them about coming on board, and if they do we could be looking at one amazing film. A couple of week ago there were rumors going around that Javier Bardem, Jeremy Renner and Brad Pitt were all interested in playing the male lead character, the villain of the story. News today is that Javier and Jeremy are both having preliminary conversations with producers about the part and Brad is out of the picture. There is also talk going around that Natalie Portman is in negotiations for the female lead. Woohoo!

OMG, this could be a film to watch out for! I have read that Javier Bardem is the current favorite because it is similar to his role in No Country For Old Men. But either way, the part is going to go to either Jeremy or Javier – both great actors. And, then there is Natalie.
