We're not sure what Jerry Seinfeld is up to with his "new project," but we do know this -- it's going to be funny!
Through a series of cryptic tweets about his latest endeavor, we've learned that the comedian has not only re-teamed with Seinfeld creator Larry David, but he's been shooting scenes in New York with Alec Baldwin and Ricky Gervais for the upcoming mystery project.
Oh, and the series -- or whatever it is -- seems to revolve around classic cars like the 1952 Volkswagen you can see him getting into (below) with Larry.
In the pic of the two old friends walking (above), we can clearly see a camera man filming their conversation. Our guess? Seinfeld is cooking up some kind of reality show in which he interviews famous comedians while cruising around in cool cars.
We're sure there is more to it, but that's all we know can loosely determine for now!

While we love the Oscars, Golden Globes, and Grammys, The Comedy Awards will offer a nice break from the snooty shows!
The nominees for the 2012 Comedy Awards have been released and Modern Family, 30 Rock, Bridesmaids, Crazy, Stupid, Love., and Louis C.K. lead the group with five nominations each.
Modern Family took home the best TV series gold last year and 30 Rock is back to try to snatch it away this year, along with Curb Your Enthusiasm, Parks and Rec, and newbie Happy Endings.
Bridesmaids has been mostly snubbed this awards season but they have several opportunities to take home some hardware with nods in Best Comedy, Best Film Director, Best Screenplay and a catfight for best actress between Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig.
Meow! Lolz!
2012 should be an exciting race for The Comedy Awards as 2011 was VERY good year for comedy!

Expectantly, we have been seeing lots of Super Bowl ads this week… first we had the Ferris Bueller homage for the Honda ad with Matthew Broderick, today we have one with Jerry Seinfeld – also for a car company! Is this a direct competition with or response to Honda? There is a lot of allusion happening as well, clearly with great Seinfeld references (one of my favorites is the Soup Nazi?!). The best part… the celebrity twist at the end? Who is it? Watch and find out.
What do you think? I think its pretty hilarious, and I love the twist at the end giving it that Super Bowl ad quality. I think it is natural that people will be comparing this one with the Ferris Bueller Honda ad. They are both car ads and both using allusion techniques to classic shows both lead stars are famous for.. which ad do you like better, Seinfeld or Bueller?
Jerry Seinfeld is so excited about the new Acura NSX that he will stop at nothing to acquire the very first one ... at least in a Super Bowl ad airing Sunday night.
How far will Jerry go for the first new NSX, the debut of which is expected in the coming years? How does Jay Leno fit into this quest for automotive greatness?
Watch an extended version of the ad below ...
Other Super Bowl ads already released:
"To be honest with you, I never felt great being at that pinaccle. There was a point where the show was really at a very high level of, it was a thing. It was the thing for a period of time. And I thought, this is not good, because it's not where I belong. This is not comedy. I always thought comedy and star are mutually exclusive."

This man needs to learn to leave women alone.
Eric Nederlander, son of tycoon Robert Nederlander, violated an order of protection when he allegedly pulled ex Nancy Okun's hair while she was sleeping and yelled "You're cheating on me."
Nederlander was arraigned and prosecutors asked for a $15,000 bond but the judge let him off with $5K.
His reasoning? Nederlander's lawyer, Eric Lipton, said his client was a lifelong New Yorker. How sweet.
This isn't the first time Nederlander has had restraining orders slapped on him. His most infamous relationship with Jessica Sklar (now JerrySeinfeld) ended with the "Leave Me Alone" papers too.
Okun was given a full order of protection and Nederlander continues to walk the streets.
When will he ever learn his lesson?!

Coincidentally, the man who will take over his chair when Regis leaves the show for good! (But only for a short while.)
This week marks the end of Regis Philbin's 30+ year career hosting Live! and for the occassion, he sat down with Jerry Seinfeld for an interview with Newsweek. Jerry knows a thing or two about leaving network TV on a high note (walked away from Seinfeld at the top of its game in 1998), so the pair shared their thoughts on leaving such dream jobs behind.
Jerry focused primarily on Regis though, asking how Regis has managed to keep his a career in broadcasting viable for nearly six decades. He responded:
"You know, I never knew if I had any talent when I started in this business. My first job was being a page at The Tonight Show. I saw Jack Paar come out one night and sit on the edge of his desk and talk about what he'd done the night before. I thought, 'I can do that!' I used to do that on a street corner in the Bronx with all my buddies."
Seinfeld adds that Philbin is unquestionably "the most successful television performer in (Read more...)
