Both of the masseurs who filed lawsuits against John Travolta for sexual assault and battery have withdrawn their cases for now. Considering the plaintiff's determination to take their cases to court shifted in a matter of days, we are curious what changed their mind.
In any case, Marty Singer wants the world to know that his married client had no part in his accusers' decisions to drop their lawsuits. The Hollywood lawyer told sources:
"Not one penny has been paid nor do we have any intention to pay any money for these ridiculous and false claims."
As we mentioned before, Travolta isn't out of the closet woods just yet. Although the first accuser's case was dismissed, he hired Gloria Allred and can still pursue another lawsuit.
Either all of this scandal is wrapping up...or just getting started!

The television series wrapped, but drama keeps flowing down Wysteria Lane!!
Nicolette Sheridan’s attorneys brought new documents to court today in the hopes of bolstering her wrongful termination retrial. Her first lawsuit against Touchstone, as you remember, ended in a hung jury.
This evidence apparently proves Sheridan was fired from Desperate Housewives because she whined to the network about show-runner Marc Cherry striking her in the head.
What the??? This sounds like a deleted scene from the show!!
Her attorney’s brief stated:
"[There is a clear] nexus between Sheridan's complaint and the decision by Cherry and Touchstone to terminate her."
A judge is supposed to sort the cray from the cray cray this Friday!

Although the anonymous male masseuse parted ways with his first attorney, who dropped the lawsuit, John Doe #1 has gone and hired Gloria Allred to file another one!
The famed civil rights attorney who doesn't like to lose released this statement on the matter:
"I represent John Doe #1. Mr. Doe's lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice which means that he is still legally entitled to file another lawsuit against John Travolta if he chooses. We are in the process of conferring with him regarding the next steps, which he may wish to take. Our client and our firm has no further comment at this time."
This will be a rematch for Travolta's lawyer Marty Singer because he has already battled Gloria in court during other high-profile cases like the Tiger Woods and Rachel Uchitel sex scandal!

Following in the footsteps of her Million Dollar Baby co-star Clint Eastwood, actress Hilary Swank is suing a company for using her image without her permission.
She filed a lawsuit in El Lay court against Robert's Home Audio and Video for using pictures of her from the Oscar-winning movie in an advertising campaign.
Hilary and Clint aren't the only two high-profile stars suing companies for using their image or name without permission. George Clooney and Julia Roberts filed a joint lawsuit against audio-visual companies earlier this month.
Best of luck to all these stars in the court room these days. Hopefully their lawsuits deliver a swift K.O. to companies trying to take advantage of their name without the proper consent.

Since John Doe #1 has officially dropped his sexual assault lawsuit against John Travolta, Marty Singer is telling sources that he believes the married actor has been complete vindicated of any wrongdoing.
He doesn't think it will take too much longer for John Doe #2's lawsuit to fall apart either and explained by saying:
"My client is completely vindicated by Doe #1 dropping his claims and dismissing his lawsuit. We fully expect that my client will similarly be vindicated with respect to Doe #2, as well as with respect to any other person who makes meritless claims against John Travolta."
Given that Travolta's second accuser is already willing to settle for less than a quarter of what he was originally after, we wouldn't be surprised if all this goes away in another week or two.

Remember back at the 2009 Tony Awards, when part of the set collapsed on Bret Michaels head???
You know, the accident that was the cause of a near-fatal brain hemorrhage months after the incident?
Well, reportedly, Bret has FINALLY settled the lawsuit -- which he filed in 2011 -- now, three years after the event!
The lawsuit, which named CBS and the Tonys as defendants, stated that Bret was never made aware that he would be in the way of "potential hazards" and was only told to exit to the rear of the stage.
Reports say:
"Representatives for CBS and the Tonys released a joint statement saying that 'an amicable resolution' had been reached.”
Currently, details for the settlement are confidential, with no further information being released.
We are sure Bret is happy to get that out of the way and is ready to move on!

Chantal Spears filed a lawsuit against the reality star, but admitted she would drop the charges for a meager ridiculous sum of $150,000.
WELL, it turns out Mz Spears is completely full of it! (And but "it" we do not mean that special quality that makes you a star!)
We've got some new and veeery innnneresting evidence that proves Khloe's innocences!
According to sources, here is the "truth":
"- There is surveillance video which shows there was NO contact between Khloe and Chantal
- The video shows ... after Khloe and Lamar enter the club, Chantal seems completely unfazed
- The valet who escorted Khloe and Lamar out of their car on December 5, 2009 says he was standing between the couple and Chantal and there was never any contact
- Chantal was interviewed by the LAPD and said she was not injured
- The LAPD investigated the case and decided there was nothing there and declined to prosecute"

Well, that didn't last long.
Just one week after filing the lawsuit, attorney Okorie Okorocha is filing to dismiss the first lawsuit in which an El Lay based male masseuse accused John Travolta of sexual assault and battery.
On top of the anonymous man getting the details of his story wrong, he spoke out to the public against Okorocha's advice and now the lawyer can no longer represent him. He recently told sources:
"I'm going to file a dismissal of John Doe #1's lawsuit on Tuesday morning, without prejudice. I could no longer represent him because he was speaking to the media against my advice, and it made no sense to me. I don't think that John Doe will be pursuing the lawsuit."
One down! Two more to go!
Providing more plaintiffs don't pop up, the married actor still has to defend himself against the allegations from an Atlanta-based masseuse and a former cruise ship employee.
The latter seems to have the strongest case and Okorocha is determined to bring it to a private trial.

Brendan Fraser has filed a lawsuit against the producers of his new movie, William Tell: 3D.
He was supposed to be paid an acting fee of $2.25 million whether the film shot or not.
The original start date of October 2011 came and went and no pay check was received.
So now Brendan is suing the producers for $3 million for his paycheck and additional damages, claiming he turned down several lucrative roles for this movie.
One of the producers, Todd Moyer, said:
"This is the first I have heard of this lawsuit. As we told Mr. Fraser's reps, we are ready, willing and able to make the movie for the September 3rd start date. [Producer] Julius Nasso and I have the movie fully financed.
Unfortunately, Mr. Fraser does not seem to be interested in making the movie as a 2D film as the producers intend to do. This is not a contractual decision Mr. Fraser has the ability to make."
That still doesn't seem to change the fact that he was supposed to be paid whether or not the movie got made and the start date passed over a half year ago.
