Jonah shone in Moneyball as Brad Pitt’s wing man, and now he is set to star alongside another Hollywood alpha male, Leonardo DiCaprio, in The Wolf Of Wall Street. The new movie is going to be directed by the legendary, Martin Scorsese, based on a script by Boardwalk Empire creator Terence Winter. You may know the original book, it is a memoir of Jordan Belfort. Like the book, the film chronicles a New York stockbroker’s involvement in a Wall Street fraud and corruption case. Do you think Jonah and Leo is the right casting here?

I am not a huge fan of the Wall Street corruption stories, in fact I usually dislike them, but this is Leo and Jonah, and of course the amazing Martin Scorsese, so it’s bound to be full of surprises Jonah will be playing the role of Belfort’s business partner when the charismatic stock broker persuades him to quit his job in the furniture business to jump into the lucrative, volatile world of stocks. The autobiography is also filled with parties, tumultuous personal lives, drugs and alcohol.
To be honest, I can’t totally see Jonah in this roll, but (Read more...)
And they can thank Martin Scorsese for the hook-up!
Since Jonah Hill did such a fabulous job being Brad Pitt's go-to guy in Moneyball, he just scored himself the supporting role in The Wolf of Wall Street.
The Scorsese-helmed film will follow Leonardo DiCaprio, who plays Jordan Belfort, as he quickly climbs the stock market ladder and succumbs to drug addiction.
Oof! Sounds intense!! Good thing Jonah comes in!! Even if his talent has adapted to the award-catching dramatics, he's still the perfect comedic relief for any situation!
Apparently Leo gets Jonah to leave the furniture business and dive into Wall Street with him.... watch out for those sharks, J-Hill!!!
Oh and did we mention Boardwalk Empire creator Terence Winter wrote the script?? Ummm yeah... count-us-in!!!

All aboard!!
An uber-rich Australian is rebuilding the infamous ocean liner that crashed, sunk, and killed Jack Dawson 1,500 people back in 1912.
Maybe you've heard of it? ;)
Over a hundred years ago, the RMS Titanic was the biggest and best ship ever built. By today's standards, the proportionately accurate Titanic II would practically be a dingy.
The new ship should house nearly 2,000 passengers (and several string quartets) -- or just a few dozen Leonardo DiCaprios, if Kate Winslet’s recent remarks about his weight are accurate.
Will James Cameron and the cast and crew of Titanic dare to be a part of Ti-Two's maiden voyage?
Hmmm. We don't know.
Though we imagine Kate’s Heart (and body) Will Not Go On that ship anytime soon, as she claims to be seasick of boats altogether.
Hopefully Leo makes an appearance on deck. He owes audiences one after blowing off the Titanic 3D premiere!!
Businessman Clive Palmer’s previous attempts to build Titanic II each ran into their own metaphorical iceberg but this time his Chinese investors promise the boat will be seaworthy soon.
Are they the ones who watched Titanic 3D roughly 17 trillion times in China?? LOLz!!

And Leonardo DiCaprio looks so good. So evil...but so good!
Here are the first two stills that have been released from Quentin Tarrantino's latest film, Django Unchained.
One shows Christoph Waltz's bounty hunter character with Jamie Foxx as the titular character and the second is a pic of Leo, who plays the villain.
We don't know what he's about to do with that hammer, but we have a feeling it's not for construction purposes.
If there is one thing Tarrantino is known for, it's brutal violence, so we expect to see lots of it in this movie and we're sure DiCaprio will be responsible for his fair share.
U likey?

Looks like Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford has been bit by the love bug!
Reportedly, Chace recently became smitten with Australia's Next Top Model contestant Alyce Crawford (no relation!), who has been linked to Leonardo DiCaprio in the past!
The two were introduced while Chace was in Australia this past weekend by their mutual friend Noah Tepperberg and quickly became infatuated with each other!
A source spills:
“They were with a group of about 10 people but clearly had eyes only for each other. Chace barely spoke to anyone else all night. He looked pretty into [Alyce.]“
Guess they share more in common than just their last name!
The two couldn’t keep their hands off each other all night when they hit up a club after dinner -- and didn’t give a SHIZ who was watching!
At least if they ever decide to tie the knot, Alyce won't have to worry about dropping her maiden name! Ha!

Aussie film director, Baz Luhrmann, is known for being interesting. The man who brought us Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes in the adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, has been at it again with F.Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. We did hear late last year that he had signed on Leo DiCaprio again, along with Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan and Isla Fischer, and now we are hearing that shooting has finished and it is set for release at the end of this year. Given that it is Baz Luhrmann, and he did the post modern interpretation of Moulin Rouge, we know that his new film adaptation isn’t going to be totally conventional. Watch Isla Fisher talking to MTV about what it was like working with Baz.. When you think of F. Scott Fitzgerald, Jay-Z totally comes to mind, right?

Surprisingly, not a lot of people know who Baz Luhrmann is. But, what you mention Leo DiCaprio’s version of Romeo and Juliet, or Moulin Rouge with Nicole Kidman, most people will smile and nod. We haven’t heard a lot about his new film, the adaptation of The Great Gatsby, (Read more...)
It's practically a historical landmark -- and it can be all yours for only $6.9 million!!
This Bev Hils pad is 6,246 square feet, has 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, 3 balconies a swimming pool --- and one time Leonardo DiCaprio Howard Hughes crashed an airplane into it!
The fancy home is featured in the "news" footage of the 1946 crash (above).
We're pretty sure it's been fixed up a bit since then.... LOL!
Somewhere, deep in the Hollywood hills, James Cameron is screaming, "I'M THE KING OF THE WORLD" with his arms spread wide apart on a balcony.
And when it comes to the box office, KING HE IS!!
Thanks to the 3D re-release, Titanic has now made over TWO BILLION dollars worldwide!!
That boat made $100 million this past weekend (dayum gurl), totaling the current worldwide success of the 3D version at $190.8 million!!
So when you add that to the original release's $1.84 billion (and that was back when ticket prices were $5.50 in some places), you get a whopping $2.03 BILLION total... and that's just so far!
Titanic currently holds second place, but at this rate, it could very well pass Avatar as the highest-grossing film of all time!
Gah! Just like that heart Celine Dion kept singing about, this movie WILL go ON AND OOOoOoOooNNN!!!
Justin and Affleck and Leo, oh my!
This is going to be QUITE the project!
Justin Timberlake and Ben Affleck have reportedly been cast in a new thriller called Runner, Runner, which will focus on on-line gambling communities, and be produced by Leonardo DiCaprio!
The project is helmed by Brad Furman, written by Brian Koppelman and David Levien, and expected to begin filming in Puerto Rico this summer!
Yum! Here's hoping they'll be filming lots of scenes on the beach - and in as little clothing as possible!
Hey! We can dream, can't we?!
Ha!
