It's the Circle of Palin reality shows!
Last we heard about the Palins on TV, Bristol's BIO channel reality show had been scrapped.
Now, Momma Sarah Palin has teamed up with Mark Burnett in her efforts to sell a reality show about her husband Todd's "career as a championship snowmobile racer."
Thus far, Discovery Communications has reportedly passed on the project, and we're also hearing that A&E isn't interested.
Looks like Sarah and Mark are having some trouble with the sell because they're asking for something in the vicinity of $1 million/episode, which is similar to what they got for Sarah Palin's Alaska. Ugh.
Given the fact that Mark Burnett is involved, we'd imagine that they'll eventually find a home for this show if they lower their price a bit...but we doubt Sarah will get a million dollars an episode anymore! Seems like America has had enough...
What do U think? Would U seriously watch a reality show about Todd Palin and snowmobiles???

Tune in, if U dare!!!
From the network that brings you Ghost Hunters and the reality show guru who brought you all those different Survivors, comes a new show about school across the country that are tricked out with real ghosts!
Syfy network has ordered six episodes of School Spirits from executive producers Mark Burnett and Seth Jarret, a show that will feature re-enactments and testimonials about ghosts stories in schools. Encounters with such paranormal activity will be shared from everyone to students to parents to teachers who have lived through them.
Sounds eerie. Eerily entertaining! We're in!
ARE U?!
So you can all settle down now.
Mark Burnett, the man behind every single one of your favorite reality competition shows (mostly), has come forward to confirm that despite rumors to the contrary, Christina Aguilera will be back on The Voice next season. Moreover, he insists that it was "ridiculous" to think that she wouldn't, since everyone on the show is so attached to her and vice versa. He explains:
"Christina is absolutely staying. She is not going anywhere, 100 percent. We were emailing with Christina yesterday. They're all back."
Then, we'll all be watching! But you guys need to talk about extending the first part of the show to more than two episodes. We like when they have their backs turned and they have to fight over people to be on their teams. Maybe have two rounds of it or something.
Don't U agree? Wasn't that your favorite part of the show too?

Can't say we agree with giving him this much money! This season of Celebrity Apprentice wasn't THAT good!
NBC has inked a new contract with Donald Trump that will keep him on board to host his reality series for another two years. The network agreed to pay Trump and co-producer Mark Burnett an estimated - wait for it - $160 million for their trouble.
Can you stand it? Even if they split that, that's like $79 million more dollars than he deserves for this gig. He's almost a billionaire! What kind of sense is this supposed to make???
Oh, and did we mention that with this new deal, Trump becomes the highest-paid reality-TV star! Eat your hearts out Kardashians! Weep on your paycheck, Ryan Seacrest. You've all been TRUMPED!

Its official!
FOX made the official announcement this afternoon that Jane Lynch will be hosting the 63rd Primetime Emmys this year in September!
The Glee star, in her statement, raves that she was "tickled pink" to be asked to host and reveals she is "looking forward to singing, dancing and sporting my finest tracksuit.” HA!
Mark Burnett, executive producer of the awards show, shared in her excitement with his statement, saying:
“Jane was my first – and only – choice as the host for this year’s Primetime Emmys, and I am glad she said ‘yes,’. She has incredible comedic timing, and is a charismatic, talented actress whose energy leaps off the screen and stage. I am thrilled and excited to have her as our host.”
As are we! As is everyone!!! Jimmy Fallon did an exceptional job with his opening last year - but we think Jane might be able to top it! We have faith in you, Jane! Let's see what you've got!

Quite an ambitious project for the reality producer!
Survivor/The Apprentice/Sarah Palin's Alaska producer Mark Burnett is putting together a 5-part, 10-hour religious docu-drama based on The Bible, which will air on The History Channel in 2013.
Here's what History Channel president/general manager Nancy Dubuc had to say about the project:
"This is probably the most important book in mankind, regardless of your beliefs or religious affiliation. This series will bring the historical stories of the Bible to life for a new generation."
"We spend a lot of time talking about this book, and probably not enough time knowing what's in it. One of the most important things about history is knowing the stories of history."
We agree that The Bible is a very important book…but are we 100% sure that a producer from Sarah Palin's reality show is the right guy to tell the story of the holy book?
Will U watch The Bible when it premieres in 2013? Do U think Mark Burnett is the right guy for this major project?

The Voice's ratings have dropped in week 3, for the beginning of the "battle round" episodes. Don't worry though! Even though the dip was pretty substantial, the show still easily won the night in the ratings war.
It even beat out Glee:
The Voice, which improved to 12.6 million total viewers and a 5.7 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic last week for the second part of the blind auditions, sank to 10.3 million and a 4.6 at 10 p.m. for the first of its battle rounds last night.
The Voice was down 19 percent in the key demo compared to the 9-11 p.m. telecast last week. Compared to last Tuesday’s 10 p.m. hour, the Mark Burnett-produced singing competition series dropped 22 percent. Still, The Voice easily topped the night as the highest-rated program (beating Glee) on Tuesday.
Not bad, but we gotta think that The Voice is still in its freshman year with a brand new competition, rules, and set of kinks to smooth out. There MIGHT be a fixable reason for this dip that they could immediate work out, or even work out if there's a next season!
Either way, people still obviously want to watch (Read more...)
