Oksana Grigorieva has booked a gig at Gardenia, finally getting ahold of her singing career.

After the bitter battle of getting the rights to her music back, it looks like she's taking a postive step towards trying to make it big own her own.

Mel Gibson Takes A Risk With His New Movie At Sundance

A very risky risk. One that's either going to pay off or cement his sinking career out cold.

At the Sundance Film Festival yesterday, Mel Gibson made a surprising deal via his company Icon Productions with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. The pair agreed to release Mel's "south-of-the-border gritty action film" Get The Gringo domestically via direct-to-consumer methods. In other words, the flick will bypass theaters completely.

Instead, starting on May 1st, the film will be made available for watching on DirecTV, which will charge $10.99 per home viewing. A wider release on Blu-ray, VOD, and digital download will follow later in the year. Now, this may lead you to believe that this movie just isn't all that good, like so many straight-to-video films have been in the past. But the release on DirecTV makes us wonder otherwise. Perhaps this is the start of getting movies to premiere in people's homes rather than in an expensive theater. You can pay the same price as a movie ticket, but get to stay in the comfort of your own home. No fighting for seats together, no smelling of popcorn and always in your pajamas.

Jewish Temple In Debt Wants Mel Gibson To Cover What’s Owed!

Ha! Well, this is certainly an inneresting way to raise money!

The Congregration Beth Shalom, in Corona, cannot pay back a massive loan it took out, and has reached out to Mel Gibson to cover the costs - as a way to prove that he isn't Anti-Semitic!

The letter reads:

"Our proposal to you, Mr. Gibson, is since you have been cited as an Anti-Semitic, and have denied those allegations, what better way to prove to all your fans and the nay Sayers -- than to endorse and help raise funds for our cause -- SOS, Save Our Synagogue."

"Mr. Gibson, we offer you to be a Mensch and make a sizable contribution to our cause."

A rep for the temple later clarified:

"We weren't trying to shame Mel Gibson into giving us money. We are approaching many celebrities and people of the community as well. We thought because of his situation he would be very much interested in supporting our cause."

Somehow, we doubt that!

But hey! It was worth a shot, right?

Guess you're just going to have to resort to a good, old fashioned bake sale!

The Science of Celebrity Breakdowns

Check out this cool celebrity infographic.  It’s about some of the mental illnesses, in particular bipolar disorder, OCD, narcissistic personality disorder,  major depression, and addiction that some well known celebrities have experienced.

The infographic makes me wonder if being a celebrity plays any causal role in these mental illnesses.  It also makes me wonder if one might become a celebrity as a result of a mental illness.    Whatever the case may be, if these stars actually did have breakdowns because of the mental illnesses listed below, and I’m not sure that they did, then I feel sorry for them.  And though I don’t have their money or fame, I realize how lucky I am that I don’t have these sorts of problems.   Being a celebrity may be cool, but it’s definitely not worth giving up your mind.

Mel and Robyn Gibson Finalize Divorce; $850 MILLION Split Evenly

Often forgotten during the Mel Gibson-Oksana Grigorieva drama of recent years was the fact that he and wife Robyn were married, albeit separated, the whole time.

No longer.

Mel's net worth of $850 million will be divided evenly between the pair, who were married for 28 years, according to those familiar with their divorce settlement.

The dissolution of their marriage was finalized late last week. Robyn filed for divorced in April 2009, but she and Mel, who have seven children, remain close.

Gibson split with Robyn after announcing he was having a baby with Oksana Grigorieva. Gibson's baby Lucia with Oksana was born October 30, 2009.

That couple split a short time later as documented in the now-infamous Mel Gibson rants. Gibson has since worked out a custody deal with Oksana.

Robyn has asked that her maiden name of Moore be legally restored, but there is clearly much more than restoring her good name involved here.

Believed to be by far the largest divorce settlement in Hollywood history, the actor's payout to Robyn dwarfs others in the nine-figure range even.

Mel Gibson Loses HALF His Fortune To Ex-Wife In Divorce Settlement!

Sucks to be Mel Gibson!

The actor's divorce from ex-wife Robyn, with whom he was married for 30 years and had seven children, was finalized yesterday in El Lay, and she was rewarded with half of his estimated $850 million fortune, mainly due to them having no prenuptial agreement, which made her legally entitled to half of everything he earned during their time together!

Furthermore, she's already received two Malibu homes that previously belonged to him and are worth a combined $22.5 million, and she'll be entitled to half of every future residual check the actor receives for his film work for the rest of his life!

Well, this is how marriage works, we suppose - well, at least marriage without a pre-nup!

The Divorce Battle Continues! Terrence Howard Claims His Ex Is Racist AND Violent!

This will surely go down as one of the ugliest divorces in Hollywood history!

To recap - Terrence Howard's soon-to-be-ex-wife Michelle filed for divorce from him back in February.

Then earlier this month, Michelle called Terrence violent in court documents, and she claimed that he constantly threatened her life.

Terrence, of course, denied everything, but Michelle was STILL granted a restraining order against him on Dec. 6.

Now, he's firing back at his ex, and he's claiming that she "hates black people" and used to say awful, racist things to him, such as the following:

"[I] never wanted to marry a n***er in the first place."

"[I] definitely didn't want to be the step mother of some n***er kids."

Absolutely deplorable! Terrence is ALSO claiming that Michelle threatened to have him killed by her Russian friends "who would do it as a favor."

He's seeking a restraining order against Michelle, and he's got a hearing set for Jan. 17.

We REALLY hope they get this all worked out sooner than later. Seriously brings us back to the Mel/Oksana days! Ugh.

These 5 celebrities have all gone on racist rants. For some, it destroyed their careers and they haven’t seen the spotlight since,  landed them in a considerable amount of hot water or ended in them apologizing to the public over what they said. Some used racist words or slang, while others have voiced their opinions which were deemed racist and shocked the world.

Back in 2008, Charlie left his ex-wife Denice Richards a message on her phone that ended in a racist name calling: “I hope you rot in fuckin’ hell. You’re a piece of shit, fuckin’ liar. … I hope I never fuckin’ talk to you again you f****ng c**t. You’re a coward and a liar and a f****ng n*****.” After the message went public, Charlie said sorry.

Seinfeld actor Michael Richards managed to destroy his career when he directed a racist rant towards two black audience members during a stand up comedy show: “Fifty years ago, we’d have you upside down with a fucking fork up your ass.You can talk, you can talk, you’re brave now motherf****r. Throw his ass out. He’s a n****r! He’s a n****r! He’s a n****r! A n****r, look, there’s a n****r!”
