Kodak To Stop Making Money Digital Cameras

Published on February 10, 2012 By

Hard times have fallen on everyone. Now, the once premiere camera company is to stop doing what they were the first to ever do: make digital cameras.

Yeah, there's a piece of history for you. Kodak actually produced the first digital camera in 1975, before most of you who are reading this were even born! Of course, we've come along way since then and sadly, it seems Kodak's competition has gotten the better of them.

The bankrupt printing and imaging company made the official announcement today that it's digital camera, pocket video camera and digital picture frame divisions will be phased out and closed by July. The decision was not an easy one to come to, but in an effort to "focus on profitable lines of business," it had to be done. However, while Kodak themselves will no longer be producing digital cameras, plans to license out their name to other manufacturers is in the works.

A real sign of the times. A rough road to head down, but hopefully, it will all turn out for the best for Kodak's team.

No Surprise, Movie Ticket Price$ Hit All-Time High

Published on February 10, 2012 By

Movie tickets just keep getting more and more expensive.

Ticket prices hit an all-time high in 2011, with the average price of admission rising from $7.89 to $7.93.

Wait, what?? Where in this country can we go to a movie for under $8 bucks? Heck, under $12 bucks!

Experts say this isn't just inflation, but is caused by the big changes in the movie industry.

Not only are more and more blockbuster-type movies are being made but bigger and better multiplex movie theaters are being built and with 3D moves on the rise, movie goers don't even have a chance anymore. 3D movies alone cost an additional $3.

Are movies even worth it anymore?? We might just have to stick to Netflix.

Oh wait....

Sarah Jessica Parker Barely Thought Before Taking Demi Moore’s Daunting Lovelace Role!

Published on February 10, 2012 By

The role was offered so quickly and there was such a time restraint that Sarah Jessica Parker barely had time to process the script in her head before she said yes!

Either way, everyone is glad she was able to step in -- and if she had had more time to think about it, she says she probably would have turned it down!

Here's what she said:

"I read the script and didn't have enough time to think about it properly. [If I had,] I probably would have said no, because it was a daunting experience for lots of obvious and less obvious reasons."

That's crazy! So close to not doing it!

But we're glad, daunting or not -- we bet she fit perfectly!

Can't wait to see the flick!

Wet Hot American Summer Sequel ‘Absolutely’ A Go!

Finally! A sequel everyone WANTS to see! Clear Bradley Cooper's schedule!

Last night, Coop Michael Showalter was Andy Cohen's guest on Watch What Happens Live and confirmed that a sequel for Wet Hot American Summer is "absolutely" happening and that "the whole gang, everyone's doing it."

Our favorite part about everyone signing on for this is that the concept revolves around everyone resurrecting their characters during the same summer as the original movie. This "40-year-olds" will be playing 16-year-olds," and it will still be 1981. The hair. The clothes. The music ... THE HAIR!

Oh, we can't WAIT to see what they do with Christopher Meloni's head! HAHAHAHA!

Are U looking forward to heading back to Camp Firewood? Have U picked out your song for the talent show? Do U have your movement clothes at the ready???

The Biebs Is ‘Too Humble ‘To Give Advice To The Wanted

Aww! As much as we think Justin Bieber DOES have valuable advice for newcomers The Wanted, we're kinda happy he doesn't feel he needs to dish it out.

The rising stars, who have toured with JBiebs in the past, just finished their first U.S. tour. In a recent interview, they revealed that despite the Bieb's massive success, he was "too humble" to give them any advice.

After being asked about their experience performing on the same stage as Justin, Max George of the British boy band told sources:

"I think he's too humble for that, in that way. ... He's not someone that really gives advice, because I think he just appreciates what happens to him rather than thinks he's God," Max George told MTV News. "And so, I mean, we don't really talk music. When we speak to him, it's more we talk about football or basketball."

Bandmate Jay McGuiness added:

"I think he knows that we know how to do what we want to do in the same way that we could never tell him how to do what he does, 'cause he does it a lot better than we ever could."

That's not true! You (Read more...)

Well, they are certainly wasting no time with this flick's promotional material now that it's being financed!

Check out the brand new poster for Robert Rodriguez's sequel to Machete, called Machete Kills, in which Danny Trejo's character will be hired by the U.S. government to stop a Mexican drug lord and billionaire trying to launch a weapon in space (above)!

Pretty much what we'd expect the poster to look like!

Doesn't need much! Just blood splatter and a badass!

AKA exactly what we want for this sequel!

The Real Housewives of Miami Gets A Second Season

Congrats ladies! (BUT only to three of you!)

Even though ratings for the first season of The Real Housewives of Miami sucked were less than average, it's been confirmed that BRAVO is giving them a second season.

To mix things up the network is only inviting 3 the original cast members -- Marysol Patton, Lea Black and Adriana De Moura -- back. Others expected to be announced soon.

In a press release Thursday BRAVO reps said:

"The Real Housewives of Miami follows a group of the most beautiful, connected and influential women in town who work hard and play harder. This season will give viewers an inside look at these aspirational women as they juggle family, work and the fabulous social scene in a city where the food is spicy, and the drama is even spicier."

With all the other Housewives cast's getting chopped up and re-vamped we're curious to see if season 2 sparks gets better.

Are U gonna watch?
